Fantastic vets, 12months ago our cat was diagnosed with FIP. They were happy for us to ring to see how he was doing when in the hospital but then when home they rang to see how he was. We were going at one point 3 times per week, they always got an appointment with the same vet and the time we needed. They managed to get the anti viral medication promptly to give our cat a better chance of recovering. The vet was honest throughout the 12 weeks treatment plan about our cats health which we appreciated. The bill went directly to the insurance so we didn't have to worry about the 6k bill instead we were able to get our cat back to full health. I would never go to another vets. Thankyou
Read on Google →Absolutely shocking service, not from the receptionists as not their fault. But dropped my hob off to be vasectomised yesterday, dropped off at 9:30 heard nothing by 2 so rang up, said he was awake but just tired. Got a phone call a hour later to say he had just dropped dead. Which still is whatever, it happens sometimes. I had already paid the £100 bill in full in advance before dropping him off. I then received a phone call before picking him up to be told I now owe them a extra £42 because they had done a revival attempt on him for 15 mins, and that they was doing me a favour because that’s 50% off it’s actually meant to be £84. To say I was gob smacked is something else, I had never consented for him to have resus and was never asked about this before hand. So they attempted to revive my ferret for 15 mins, (which I thinks a lie, who the hell trys to receive a small furry for 15 bloody mins, after 2 it ain’t coming back) But they did this off there own back, without my informed consent and have the cheek to try charge me. I have refused to pay the remaining £42 bill, they have already had £100 from me and I haven’t even got my animal at home. I will be contacting RCVS after I have received all the documents I have requested from them via email, which they still haven’t answered 24 hours later or seem to even have acknowledged. Greedy money grabbing vets, Take your animals elsewhere. I usually use pet repair vets but only had £100 so thought I’d use these instead. What a regret. I’m now £100 down and don’t have my animal and will shortly be receiving bills through the post for something that was done without my informed consent.
Read on Google →Took our third cat, Cookie, to get her first vaccination and the whole process felt really rushed. I get it being busy but instead of offering our cat a terrible experience rebook it! The vet didn’t show any compassion to the little kitten as she injected her microchipped and caused lots of pain. Followed by the her first vaccine which was done in even more pain!!! Our cat was a little angel till yesterday and now she’s all afraid of being picked up any more and hides away. Really wish we went to the other Abbey vets practice as we had a much more pleasant experience there…
Read on Google →Debbie receptionists at barnsley branch was rude to me when I rang this week to book my dog in for vaccination booster and check up. I was lovely on phone to her just wanting to book an appointment and got attitude and rudeness its not on. I rang after 8:30 and got Cudworth Abbey vets and got a lovely receptionists who booked me in. Abbey vets need to train debbie on her attitude as they will loose clients and their pets. It right narked me off and its not on.
Read on Google →Amazing vets! Fantastic care and sound advice for my old cat. Definitely feel they have the animals best interests at heart. My cat (and me!) were very well looked after. Warm caring vets, nurses and reception staff. Amazing value for money too. Thank you to Liz and all the team that took care of my cat Ralph.
