We always have a very good experience with Wilson vets. Their staff are always friendly, professional and caring towards animals and their owners. Can’t ask for anything more from them.

I have been with Wilson’s vets for over 20 years. They were recommended by a bullmastiff breeder as Paul had a very good reputation and my first visit didn’t disappoint. I now travel 17 miles to stay with them. The staff are so lovely and caring they are the best vets around. Thank you Wilson’s vets

I had to take my dog, Gus, to the emergency out-of-hours service, where he unfortunately needed to stay in for two nights. The care he received throughout his stay was absolutely exceptional. Every vet and member of the nursing team showed genuine empathy, compassion, and professionalism. I was kept fully updated on Gus’s condition and was encouraged to call at any time if I was worried. Any questions I had were answered with patience and reassurance, and I always came away from conversations feeling comforted and informed. They also kindly allowed me to visit Gus during his stay, which meant a great deal to me during such a stressful time. I cannot thank the team enough for their outstanding care and support, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing emergency veterinary care.

Sadly on 12th December our beloved house rabbit Dusty passed over the rainbow bridge. I would like to thank all of the staff for there compassion and care they gave to both Dusty and our family. Yesterday we received a lovely sympathy card and Forget Me Not seeds through the post, what a lovely kind gesture which gave us comfort during this sad time. I would not hesitate to recommend Wilson’s (Bishop Auckland & Spennymoor). Thank you all 💔

My sister uses Wilson’s vets in Spennymoor and duly informed I of a branch in Bishop Auckland of which I duly visited with my seizure medical alert dog. The appointment wasn’t rushed and duly explained all to I of which I came away feeling happy for Lola & I thanking you.
