Today our cat Honey was booked in for dental work. All the staff are wonderful and explain everything that's going to happen throughly. They gave us updates on Honey three times and even sent us a picture of her in recovery. We couldn't have asked for better treatment for Honey thank you so muchto all of you .x

I can't rate this place enough, so gental with my 3 cats and kitten. Although the prices are a bit steep I can't fault them the vets know what they are saying and doing and give 100 attentive care. My 4 boys love it here 💙

Well..I couldn't have asked for a better team of receptionists, nurse's & surgeon at the West Bromwich, Pets for Vets!! My darling dog is our rescue, baby of 7 years. She had a large tumour and a couple more that literally appeared throughout the winter & when I went to groom her ready for spring/summer as she is a Bichon, thats when to my horror I found it. The Growth was fast, growing under skin. I was beating myself up because how could I not have found this lump? though it was higher up under a top teat. Covered by lots of winter hair. We never had her spayed within the almost 3 years of her owning us as she was bread her whole life on a puppy farm & we didn't want to put her through more trauma as you can imagine. The tumour/tumours were the reason for this, unfortunately. So she was prone to cancer. After passing her over to the very, reassuring, surgeon the following few days later after we saw the veterinary nurse, who was completely honest with us with everything also lovely, we went home & waited for the call to say she was out of theatre & ready to collect the same, early, evening. My dog had her cyst removed, amazing! The two tumours & spayed all in the same day! She was kept safe, calm, no pain. Yes, her tummy looked horrible & broke our hearts. But with all her pain relief, antibiotics & plenty of sleep/rest & love she was her happy self within 3 days & walking without us carrying her to the grass/toilet and bed!! I'm absolutely 💯 astonished at her recovery! 8 days later you wouldn't know she had been in surgery. Her tummy looks absolutely beautiful & so does her nose. She's very happy & the spaying/neutering hasn't affected her personality at all!😊 Also I have to mention how clean the veterinary area was. As some vets I've been to have never mopped. I saw the receptionist cleaning with the mop several times both times we were there & you new your dog would come out clean. I've given 5 stars, if i could give 10 there you go. Also the price in comparison to other vets, was fantastic! They truly do think of the pets. Also you can keep updated with them, not just by phone but with WhatsApp. Sending pictures of your pet & any questions or concerns on WhatsApp, extra reassurance. Today we had the biopsy results via phone..... Rosie is Cancer free! X Life is great. No more worrying! Thank you all for all you did for our Rosie W. X We hope Rosie never has to see you again! 😃 Little things, yes. As we won't go anywhere else now. X God bless you all Mr & Mrs W.

Tony and the team at Vets4pets in West Bromwich were amazing helping us get our little dog to Thailand. They support us to get our Export Health Certificate, rabies vaccination, blood test and other vaccines. It went very smoothly getting our little dog to Thailand with us. A big thank you to them all 👍🙏

The staff at reception are probably the best part of this place. After 5 years of back and forth with care here I have noticed that the organisation themselves do not communicate about pet care and work in silos. I find myself constantly having to repeat the nature or need for appointments whenever I go, and none of the clinicians are fully informed about my pet's medical history. This is especially concerning when my dog had TPLO surgery here, for which the aftercare was shocking. We were told he should heal in 12 weeks, and were given little to no information around risks of procedure, or on aftercare guidance - the informed consent piece is non-existent in this place and it's quite shocking and upsetting. 3 months post op my dog was presenting symptoms of lameness, and we spent fortunes going back for repeat consultations only to be told there is no issue and that the only advice would be to restrict his activity and spend hundreds on temporary solutions, i.e. anti-inflammatories and injections. It wasnt until 6 months after surgery and constant complaining that they accepted his leg was causing him pain and discomfort - he was limping when he tried to run. It was all pretty maddening - you put your trust in these professionals and they dismiss you like you're don't have a clue about the well-being of a sentient being you love and care for daily. Anyway, they went in and performed further procedures, and once again have been giving us contradictory and vague advice. My dog is struggling more post op than he did before. Vets4Pets = the McDonald's of vet care. They are not measured or informed, nor do the provide you with any substantial information. Every decision you make at this place about your pet is like a wild stab in the dark. I would suggest findiny a family run business where patient care is priority, not maximising sales and vet volume. It is not the individual failing of any one person at this place. It is run like conveyor belt service.
