  Very disappointed with the service. Another case of a wonderful, independently run vet surgery being taken over by a corporate chain. The original surgery was run by people with heart and warmth and the care was tailored to customers and pets. Now it's a very expensive service with clinical coldness and manipulative corporate process. I came in with a 10-week old kitten suffering with ear mites. On the website it said that to get a prescription for our preferred dewormer, a nurse consultation would be sufficient. However, when we arrived, we were forced to be seen by a doctor, who has scratched her ear with a cotton bud enough to cause it to bleed, and then insisted on running a test. Then I was told I had to pay £39 (!) for a prescription because, and I quote, 'it's stupid but it's corporate policy'. In addition, I couldn't purchase my preferred and trusted brand of dewormer, and I couldn't receive the prescription I have paid for. I was offered to order it online (another few days to arrive), and then the surgery would email them my prescription. With a small pet who is in a lot of discomfort, it was disappointing not to be able to purchase it right away. This is the second time I was told 'it's stupid, but it's corporate policy'. In the end I had to purchase the dewormer of a different brand that the surgery had in stock instead. I felt completely powerless because I had no choice every step of the way, and was forced through the process that I didn't agree to. I'm so sad and disappointed because the people who work there are really nice and mean well, but they are prevented from providing genuine care by 'corporate policy' that seamlessly guides the customers through a path designed to extract the most amount of money. I was told I would receive an email with an itemised receipt for the £130 bill I paid, which, sadly, didn't happen automatically, so I had to chase the next working day. And I still don't have my medicine. It doesn't seem fair or kind.

  I took my pet pigeon, Ramen, there for the first time. The vet, Bruna, was amazing. She spent almost two hours examining him, taking X-rays, and explaining everything in great detail. I was genuinely impressed by the level of care and service we received. Ramen is now on medication and recovering well, and we will certainly return for his follow-up appointments and any future health concerns. I can highly recommend Bruna to anyone looking for excellent care for their exotic pet.

  I had such a wonderful experience at this veterinary clinic. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist gave us a warm and friendly welcome, which immediately put both me and my puppy at ease. The atmosphere was calm and caring, and it was clear that everyone truly loves what they do. The vet was exceptional, calm, patient, and incredibly kind. They took the time to explain everything clearly and treated my puppy with such gentle care. It really made all the difference to see how comfortable and happy my puppy was throughout the visit. I left feeling reassured and grateful for the excellent care and compassion shown to us. I can’t recommend this clinic enough for anyone looking for a vet who truly goes above and beyond for both pets and their owners.

  I hadn't taken my (18 year old) kitten to a vet in years. It felt pointless, as those I'd used previously seemed unconcerned about her health and only interested in selling me pills, which even after months of use did nothing to improve her quality of life. So instead of a vet, I added suppliments to her food, googled advice etc... I'm SO thankful I found this place when she had a stroke... they saw her the same day without an emergency fee, I felt like everyone there cared about helping her, and best of all... the medications are actually working and I've seen improvement every day. This place has restored my trust in vets. I will undoubtedly be using them from now on and would highly recommend 👌.
