  It's been roughly two weeks since my visit to vets now and my 14 year old baby is doing a lot better. I arraved at around 4:30am Staff were polite and straight forward no messing around. They gave me some great advice and sent me on my way once the problem was assessed. Would recommend to anyone who needs an emergency vet.

  My first experience with vets now wasn't great prior. But this visit was really good. I took my kitten in after an accident at home and the vet who checked Tiggy out was fantastic. Both with Tiggy and myself. Lovely woman and she was brilliant with my kitten too. Receptionist on that night was lovely too. Both really put my mind at ease after a very worrying and stressful accdient involving me and the kitten. And Tiggy is great. Couldn't fault my visit with that particular vet and Receptionist.

  Overall seemed very good. At least I was impressed at the time. Rather a long wait and only 2 of us waiting. Only 1 vet and didn't appear to be any nurses free though 2 people sat at reception all the time which didn't seem necessary. Vet lovely and reassuring, even though my most placid dog tried to bite when she touched a painful bit!! I felt a bit pressured to have blood tests though I did decline. Had already been told she had a minor injury to her pelvis that would heal, given pain killers and told she should rest and told to consult my vet if I had any further worries. The downfall is the exorbitant cost of emergency vets treatment. Knew just over £300 for the consultation. Just short of £400 with the meds. An anti inflammatory given by injection and 7 days worth in a bottle. I wasnt unhappy with the vist but...2 days later I gave a lift to someone to my regular vet. Took Willow to weigh her. Had a couple of questions I wanted to clarify about how to look after her. As luck would have I got a free consultation. She was examined again. Vet had details from emergency vet. Confirmed she was very tense around the area she had the injury when touched. But also said it could be her spine and rest was really important. Yes she seemed better but the painkillers were masking the pain. If she didn't rest there could be more damage done. Said I understood. We were only having slow short walks on the lead. He emphasised she should not climb on furniture, a bed or up and down stairs. Recommended meds for 3 extra days and the resting should be up to 4 weeks. Any assessment of whether she healed or not should be then, when not taking pain killers. Maybe I should have asked more questions at the first vet....but to say rhe least Im really upset I didn't have all this information at the first visit and the possible consequences for Willow.

  We used vet's now for when my boy Django started showing signs of bloat, the staff were amazing the only downside is the price. But it would've be worth it if they could've saved him.

  We had to call the out-of-hours vet, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful. Even over the phone, they were incredibly patient, calm, and reassuring. They took the time to listen properly, didn’t rush the conversation, and gave clear, practical advice that really helped in a stressful situation. You could tell they genuinely cared, even without seeing us in person. Such a comforting experience. Thank you
