⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We’ve been with The Sands Vets for around two years now. My Frenchie Daisy has recently had luxating patella surgery here. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From start to finish, the team were fantastic – professional, caring, and so reassuring throughout. Daisy is recovering so well, and the surgical wound is so neat you can hardly tell she’s had an operation. It’s clear they really care about both pets and owners. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else! I highly recommend The Sands Vets to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pets🐾

The Sands offers an outstanding service, from the moment you walk in to the practice all the Staff are welcoming and clearly care about both the animals and their owners. Fiona, Dan, Claire and Hannah are all very knowledgeable and take the time to explain a diagnosis and treatment options in a way that is very easy to understand . Nothing is too much trouble. Also You can always get an appointment on the same day. Highly recommend.

The best vet clinic out there. Staff, receptionists, whole team are just so friendly and enthusiastic, always helpful and patient. We had a horrible experience coming from vets4pets and had our faith restored coming to this small practice. Always opt for local over chains. Actually sad to be transferring due to moving up to Scotland, will miss this gorgeous place. Thanks from Amber and Leo!!

The Sands veterinary practice is probably the best independent vets in the area. We have been bringing our dogs here for a good number of years having followed Fiona from her previous practice. The staff here are very helpful and caring just what you need for a fantastic veterinary practice. Thank you.

Anyone can do the fluffy bunny routine stuff, with a smile and a bit of cheer, giving the impression that the vets are great. They earn their spurs by getting things right when it’s needed most. Fiona Wall did a conscious X-ray of our boy and told us that he did not have any tumours in his lungs. She told us that he was in heart failure. 4-5 weeks later he died of a lung tumour, not heart failure!! A specialist told us and Mrs Wall that he was definitely not in heart failure and yet she didn’t want to listen. She got it badly wrong and her misdiagnosis cost us our beautiful boy. Unforgivable. Unbelievably we were blamed, in writing, for not having insurance! Not an obligation but Mrs Wall seems to want customers to have it, otherwise you get a lower level of care, but they don’t tell you that. Unforgivable. Beware of the lure of the smiles…our lives have been turned upside down forever by Fiona Wall…but she never said sorry. Unforgivable.
