  I've used a few vets over the years, but I've never felt so seen and heard. Alisha and her team are absolutely amazing, and I wouldn't take my cat anywhere else. Their cat-friendly approach is exactly what so many veterinary practices are missing. They treated my cat, Luna, with such care and kept me updated every step of the way. We were booked in and seen the very same day, which was such a relief. Thank you all so much for your kindness, compassion, and for making both Luna and me feel so comfortable. Highly recommend to any cat owner!

  I had to use Vets for Pets New Mersey Retail Park in November 2025 when my beloved dog, Prince, suddenly became gravely unwell. My usual veterinary practice failed to provide the urgent care and support we needed at that critical moment, which significantly added to my distress and left me feeling completely unsupported. From the moment we arrived at Vets for Pets, the care, compassion, and swift action shown by the entire team were truly outstanding. It was one of the most horrendous experiences I have ever faced, but the staff handled everything with such kindness and professionalism that it brought comfort during an incredibly painful time. Sadly, Prince passed away that day. However, the team ensured his passing was handled with dignity, gentleness, and deep compassion—not only towards him, but also towards me. I will never forget the care they showed us in those final moments. What meant even more was the continued support afterwards. In the days and weeks following Prince’s passing, the staff checked in with genuine warmth and kindness. They also took great care of Prince’s brother, Pepe, ensuring he was safe and well—particularly before attending the groomers next door, given previous concerns with their hearts. The reception team, manager, vets, and veterinary nurses are some of the most compassionate professionals I have ever encountered. As a nurse myself, I understand how demanding and emotionally challenging caring roles can be. Seeing this team provide such exceptional, empathetic care was truly faith-affirming. I cannot thank them enough, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a veterinary team that will treat their pets—and their owners—with genuine care, kindness, and respect.

  What an amazing team you have! I came in desperate as an out of towner. My sausage dog was so anxious and unhappy being away from home and having such a long car ride home filled me with dread! You were both so kind to me and gave Dash all the treats and some meds that really helped and he travelled home without any distress. Thank you so much! You really helped not only put Dash at ease but saved this stressed out dog mom too! 10/10 recommend!

  EXOTIC PETS 👍👍👍 👍👍 Besides the usual canines (cats & dogs), Vets for Pets Speke will see to your other little pets. My furball is Arnie the ferret, they took great care of Arnie from start to finish, his post-care was excellent! Alisha & her lovely team make a great addition inside Pets at Home Speke & comes with my recommendation 5* plus Please ignore past (old reviews) they are irrelevant as those were before Alisha & her team started!

  This is hands down the best vet clinic I’ve ever been to. The level of care, attention to detail, and genuine compassion is unmatched. Vet Sarah explained everything thoroughly and made sure both my pet and I felt comfortable and reassured.
