I cannot recommend South East Vet Referrals highly enough. From the very beginning, even before Coco was officially referred for her IVDD operation, the care, communication and support we received were outstanding. Their WhatsApp service was incredibly helpful from the outset, answering our questions quickly, keeping us informed and helping us understand what to expect. It made a very worrying time feel far less overwhelming. Once Coco was admitted, the high standard of care continued. A massive thank you everyone but in particular, to Rodolfo, Kat and Amy, who went above and beyond throughout the entire journey. Their compassion, professionalism and genuine dedication to both Coco and our family gave us complete confidence that she was in the very best hands. The communication was first-class. Every morning and evening we received detailed WhatsApp updates, along with photos of Coco, which brought us so much comfort while she was away from home. We also received regular phone calls to talk us through her progress, explain each stage of her recovery and answer any questions we had. We never once felt out of the loop. Another huge source of relief was the way they dealt with our insurance claim from start to finish. Taking care of all the paperwork removed a significant amount of stress and allowed us to concentrate solely on Coco’s recovery. Everyone at South East Vet Referrals showed an incredible level of skill, kindness and commitment. We will always be thankful for everything they did for Coco and for the reassurance they gave us during such a difficult time. If your pet ever needs specialist veterinary treatment, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend South East Vet Referrals. They truly set the standard for veterinary care, and we will always be grateful for giving Coco the best possible chance at a full recovery.

There are simply not enough words to thank Richard for what he has done for our beautiful Layla. After diabetes caused her cataracts and took away her sight, watching her lose her confidence and independence was heartbreaking. Richard took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answering every question with honesty, patience and genuine compassion. From the very first consultation, we knew Layla was in the safest hands. Last week, Richard performed her cataract surgery, and today we are watching our little girl see the world again. Seeing her recognise us, explore with confidence and experience life through her own eyes again is something we will never forget. Richard’s skill as an eye surgeon is exceptional, but what really sets him apart is the kindness and care he shows to both his patients and their owners. He understands that pets are family, and throughout this journey we always felt supported, reassured and listened to. Thank you, Richard, for giving Layla more than her eyesight back. You gave her confidence, her independence and her quality of life. That is a gift our family will be forever grateful for. You have changed her life, and ours, in ways we can never fully express. Thank you will never seem enough for everything you’ve done for our precious Layla.
