So impressed with Dacre House, always so friendly and got my guinea pig in within 10 mins of calling when I was concerned. We saw Bradley and he was so kind and gentle and made a very hard time of losing our pet a little easier, as we really felt he cared. Thank you all so much, feel so lucky to have such fantastic care for our little guys.

I’ve taken my kittens and their mum, Bijou, visiting both practices and have been so impressed with the care and kindness shown every time. The vets are calm, thorough, and genuinely focused on what’s best for the animals, taking time to explain things clearly without any pressure. It’s refreshing to feel that decisions are driven by care rather than profit. I’m now bringing Bijou’s boyfriend, Mr Darcy, and my dogs are lined up for a visit too — which says a lot about the trust I have in them.

Dacre house have been unbelievable will all of my animals. Steph especially, she was thorough with her diagnosis of our cats condition and was there with us right until his passing. She’s also been awesome with my dogs and has made a clear effort to help support us as well as the dogs when they have been unwell. Thank you guys for being so helpful and big thanks to Steph for being and continuing to be amazing!

I had my first dog at dacre for 3 years with no huge problems. It’s when I got a second puppy and requested his 12 week DHPP vaccine without lepto I was treated appallingly. I was told they would not give him this vaccine without lepto , the vet Stephanie Andrew’s pretended this wasn’t an option other vets could offer and acted like I was an idiot rolling her eyes. She was snide and condescending with a superiority complex like I’ve never seen, I actually felt annoyed with myself afterwards that I had tolerated someone treating me with such disrespect and calling me stupid to my face. Needless to say I didn’t cave to her ridicule and moved both my dogs to Culverden vets down the road who offered the vaccine no problem.

A truly lovely vet practice. Always helpful and accommodating when you need assistance or advice. Appointment times are well kept and the pricing structure is clear. I feel that my pets have been ,over the years, and are still being well looked after and cared for in their best interests.
