A lovely practice. The vets are fantastic and take the time to listen and explain things clearly, and you really get the impression that they care about both the animals and their owners. When I’ve had to leave my cat there for a procedure, I’ve felt completely reassured knowing he’s in kind, capable hands and will be well looked after.

We have been registered with Hoylake Vets for many years for all our dogs. We have always found everyone at the practice very professional and friendly with a genuine love of animals. Recently one of our dogs suffered a serious life threatening medical emergency. Rob treated Colin immediately and his skilled intervention gave him the chance to recover. Dedicated follow up care from Vets and Nurses resulted in a complete recovery. Whenever we rang to see how Colin was doing the reception staff were empathetic and reassuring. His recovery really was a team effort. Colin was reluctant to eat and was regularly hand feed by syringe over a period of two nights and three days and was given lots of cuddles too. Rob gave us regular medical updates for which we were very grateful. Thank you to everyone at Hoylake Vets, your intervention and care which ensured a complete recovery for Colin when the outcome could have been so different. We would not consider using any other veterinary practice.

Difficult to find a vet who will see poultry animals but Hoylake Vets were exceptional with my Indian runner duck. Rob was so friendly, knowledgeable and really tried his best with treating my girl. Although sadly she did not make it (sadly common with birds), I received a thoughtful and heart warming card sending condolences from the veterinary team which really topped off the service. Will not take any of my ducks anywhere else, recommend 100%. Thank you
