In 2023 my cat Blaze was hit by a car luckily he is thriving now but he got admitted to wimpole vets after having his back legs, hips broken and fixed he also lost his ability to urinate he got fitted with a tube through his bladder which we had to drain multiple times a day but with a miracle he managed to urinate on his own. But the staff at wimpole especially Martin helped our precious boy which on 2 1/5 years is better than ever which we wouldn’t thought possible through everything and we are all so grateful for everyone’s hard work and dedication to blaze. We could not fault this vet at all they was very understanding and helpful and no question was left unanswered or stupid to ask. couldn’t have a better team at wimpole vet thank you so much! 🐾

This review is long overdue but for anyone going through a similar scenario, I hope it provides reassurance! Our poor kitten (10months old) came home with an injury affecting the left side of his hip back in December 2024. We were quickly referred to East of England Veterinary Specialist for surgery when we had found out his femoral head had completely broken away from his femur which needs surgery to rectify. Sebastian was very informative and went through the options we had - who would have thought a cat can live a normal life without a femoral head? Sebastian and his team worked on our little guy and the FHO surgery was a success. Our cat stayed in over night, the team were attentive and followed up with numerous phones calls for the overall 24-ish hours they had him in. Now 9months post op, (including 6weeks crate recovery and being kept indoors for 6months) our little ginger guy has no limp and can walk, run, jump with ease and remains a burden to wild life. Thank you so much to the kind receptionist, the aftercare team, Sebastian and everyone in between for getting our little guy back to his usual ways.

We took our 6 year old Shorkie, Daisy in for a TPLO on Monday after our local vet virtually insisted on this vet practice for the operation. I have to say we were very apprehensive but it was clear from the start Daisy was in the very best hands. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. They inspired confidence from the outset and even submitted the insurance claims for us, so removing another potentially troublesome obstacle for the uninitiated. Four days on and Daisy is doing fine. Obviously she still has a long recovery and cafe rest ahead of her but so far, so good - Thoroughly recommended!

Looked after my girl so well. Martin and the team were very thorough, explained every option and went ahead with the surgery in the same day. 3 weeks post op and Uhura is starting to walk again and we can go upstairs too bed for the first time in months. Can't thank the team enough.

Just when you felt locksdown couldn't get anymore stressful, Arthur needed TPLO . The whole team at East of England made this a relaxed and friendly process, with amazing attention to detail. Their reports were simple to digest and understand. Their sevice was second to none. Not being allowed the normal involvement due to restrictions could have been a problem, but the entire team made this as fluid and stress free as it could be. You actually feel as though you are part of a family as the service is so intimate. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I was luckiy enough to meet Martin and Sebastian who were outstanding. I would like to thank you both and your entire team for your help and consideration you showed. Thank You for giving my Naughty Schnauzer his life back. After a year of restrictions he is ready to party xxx
