Took a dog in for castration, used gayton for my jack russel before. The difference, they did not put a dressing on and the site is now infected. This is rather stupid, I am not a medical professional but not dressing cut marks on flesh after a surgery sounds rather stupid. I am angry at the outcome. Update: Upon review, they made us wait an hour+ and they did not even remove all his testicles. This after infection. I am super pissed off.

    • Had my two guinea pigs neutered here. The vet was knowledgeable about guinea pigs (using the abdominal rather than scrotal method) and everyone was lovely.

Used to think highly of this practice. Very much gone downhill. Rude unhelpful staff. Owner very patronising. Only interested in taking your money over animal care. Had to visit my overnight emergency the vet on call was unwell. Sent home. My dog became worse had to go back was told nothing they could do vet was unwell but could leave her there for observation. My choice to take her home where she was better off. Called again first thing in the morning was told they were busy and could not have an appointment. Send photos and videos of my dog in distress still no help. Had to find an alternative vet who immediately hospitalised and treated. Complete wrong diagnosis. Now they are chasing me for nearly £300 for a waste of time overnight visit. It’s all about money to them. The practice is now getting a bad reputation. If you’re thinking of joining this practice I would think twice.

The team were amazing. From the moment we entered to the moment we left, we had such a fantastic experience. No question to silly and you can tell the whole team loved to be with our kitten. I would give more stars if I could. Definitely consider them for your pets needs.

This was our first visit to Priory Vets. On arriving, I immediately felt welcome with the friendly receptionist. On seeing the vet, we found her to be very easy to communicate with, and our dog was at ease with the vet. The one thing I really like is that the out of hours service for Priory vets is in-house. Whereas I was happy with the previous vet we had with our late dog, their out of hours vet was an hour's drive away. Like most vets, Priory vets do offer a health plan, which helps to spread the cost over a year, including flea treatment, worming, consultations,
