  Took my cat for her yearly check up we were in and out with fuss even tho the clinic had a leak. It did not disrupt the service at all, for me anyway, Resilience and adaptability

  Horrendous. My dog had to come in for an emergency hysterectomy bearing in mind she is 13. The vet called us to take her home stating that he THINKS she will be ok. This might I add was because they were closing and he wanted to go home. Long story short she nearly died on the way to the emergency vet we had to go to. They couldn’t believe what a state she was left in and had to be kept in for 4 days. Then I get a request for payment! I made a formal complaint in which the account was put on ‘hold’ until it was resolved. Then I get another request saying that on their end it was resolved!! Now I have debt collection letters coming to my house! I will not let this go and I will make sure EVERYONE knows what a despicable money grabbing sham this poor excuse for a Vet is.

  Terrible. I have never encountered such an uncaring, indifferent veterinary surgery. I was advised to go to this surgery by the council recommended animal shelter, as they would help me with a stray dog that I had rescued from running in and out of traffic. I took the poor little dog there, hopeful that they would offer me assistance and a safe place where he could be collected by the rescue centre. The receptionist was awful, saying it wasn’t their responsibility. Well he wasn’t mine, but, unlike them, I actually cared about what was going to happen to the poor little mite. Obviously as there was no monetary benefit to them, they could not have cared less. Disgraceful, rude behaviour from so called caring professionals. Avoid at all costs. They just want your money and don’t give a damn about animals in real distress. Thank goodness that Aspen House came through and helped him out. Shocking and very upsetting behaviour from this surgery. I will never go back and will make sure that none of mu friends and acquaintances do either.

  I recently took my dog to this veterinary practice to have her anal glands expressed, and I was very pleased with the care we received. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the vet was gentle, professional, and explained everything clearly. My dog was treated with kindness and made to feel as comfortable as possible. The team clearly care about the animals they treat, and I left feeling confident she was in excellent hands. I would happily recommend this practice to others

  The staff at Oakmount veterinary Centre are always friendly and helpful so much so even my dog loves going here, every time we pass by she pulls in the direction of their door to go in. The vets she sees are always helpful and will offer advice and are patient with the animals putting them at ease, and mines a large excitable and demanding dog. They also offer a pet club that gives great offers and can also ease your costs. My dog Blue had her check up the other day and came out feeling happy and pampered.
