Attended yesterday as our dog was very distressed after chewing some twigs in the garden. Wouldn’t let vet Emily examine his mouth, advice was to sedate him to allow full examination of mouth, throat, windpipe areas. He was admitted immediately. A couple of hours later we were able to collect him, a 2.5 inch twig stuck firmly in his back teeth across the roof of his mouth had been removed without need for full anaesthesia. Brilliant service from Oakham Veterinary Hospital from 1st telephone call to collection, everyone so caring and reassuring, seen quickly, treated quickly and back home within 3-4 hours wagging his tail and eating his dinner. Ralph is our 3rd dog, all have been treated at this practise over the last 25 years and we’ve always received a similar level of care to yesterday’s emergency. Can’t fault them at all, highly recommended.

After 6 days/nights my Assistance Dog Sally was released back into my care, after nearly dying (she was given less than a 20% chance of survival) These fine folk saved my darling's life. Highly recommended.

My little dive likes somethings just right (only her way will do). Iv always had her at the same vets, from day one she was made to feel relaxed she was only 10 weeks old on her first visit. I was shown about the pet health plan and how much it could save you on vacations, neutering and many other things. Every appointment me and my little Girl is welcomed and made to feel welcome and comfortable. Im always asked how she is, if iv noticed any change and if im concerned about anything with her that's all before we get into why we are there in the first place. I am lucky enough to have found a vet practice and a Vet me and my dog like. I would recommend them every time for someone who want a vets they can trust and book in with the vet that your pet gets on with.

The best veterinary practice I have known. Been with them over 20+ years so that speaks volumes. They have a welcoming yet compassionate reception team who go the extra mile when needed. The vets are excellent and explain everything clearly even the bad side of things. The nurses are brilliant too. Everywhere is spotless and never have I reason to doubt. If you are reading this as a potential practice then I recommend highly
