  I came in yesterday with my very poorly senior cat. I knew in my heart what the outcome was going to be, the girls showed me, my daughter and my cat nothing but compassion and kindness. They did not rush the situation and they made me and my daughter feel at ease during the whole situation. The empathy they shown during such a difficult time will never be forgotten. They then managed to get us some paw prints and a jar with some fur in for us as a keepsake which we are entirely greatful for.   Oakfield Vets are absolutely brilliant! Whether it’s the Atherstone branch—where we usually take our girl, Mooch—or the Tamworth branch, where we went for the first time yesterday, the service is consistently outstanding. I was so worried because Mooch had a bleeding abscess, but the team was fantastic. The vet was incredibly kind and gentle with her, taking the time to answer all our questions and put our minds at ease. Since Mooch won't take tablets, they were very helpful in providing her oral painkillers and antibiotics in liquid form instead. The front-of-house staff were equally lovely and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It’s a fantastic practice that truly puts the care of much-loved pets first.   A truly lovely and reassuring vet. I arrived feeling very anxious and worried about Teddie, but the vet was so calm, kind and understanding that it instantly put me at ease.
