My 13 year old dog who is a cross Labrador, was very poorly with sepsis, we thought we were going to have to let him go, but the vet took the time to explain how well he was doing, and the nurses were wonderful, massaging his muscles as he couldn't walk, they even cut his nails and gave him a brush, he went in on Sunday morning and well enough to come home on Thursday, although a bit wobbly was walking on his own on Friday, we had a check up on Tuesday and while we waited, the nurses and reception staff were giving us lots of advise on how to get him to take his tablets and get him to eat, we were able to ask any questions, the care Willow got was excellent, Thank you to all the staff, from Willow, sent some pictures of Willow enjoying the garden a week today he was fighting for his life thank you for everything you did for him, as you can see he's enjoying being home again
Read on Google →Very rude and disrespectful vet - Hans Van Der Hoven, which I believe is a director. He caused me severe emotional distress and anxiety, I felt scared, bullied, insulted, very threatened, and later humiliated in front of all the visitors and staff at reception while trying to get some help for my cats. My family has been using this practice for over 40 years and I have been recommending them to all of my friends. They have never been anything but nice and helpful to me. However, Mr Van Der Hoven managed to single-handedly destroy my trust in this practice in minutes and traumatise me so much so, that I have not been able to stop crying for hours after. I have several pets that I meticulously care for, they are my life and my babies and I take them for check-ups after every sneeze or cough. I pay for each monthly (vet plan) and spend thousands of pounds per year towards their care and health. My cats all have up to date cat flu vaccinations, administered by this practice yet one of my cats contracted this flu and is undergoing treatment. I came for a second health check since treatment started. My visit today was horrendous. I was spoken to as if I was a useless peasant: anything I was saying was dismissed, vet was barking orders at me instead of talking to me, the treatment that was recommended, I felt, was excessive and when I tried to discuss an alternative method, he angrily chose even more inconvenient one to punish me for (God forbid) having an opinion about someone I care so much for. He then left the room leaving me very upset. I didn't want anyone so rude and abrupt to continue examining my baby so I took them both and left the room. I've asked to see another vet at reception when he walked in and demanded that I get back in the room and when I refused, he threatened that he would report me to RSPCA in front of the people at reception and full waiting room. I can see no other reason for him to threaten me like this but out of vindictiveness, which is even more insulting given how much I spend with this clinic each year and how passionate I am about my furry kids. This individual is in no condition to be facing customers: rude, abrupt, unprofessional and vindictive. He would benefit from further training before he insulted more customers. I am a single disabled mother caring for two disabled children and my life is not easy as it is so the last thing I need is to be shouted at by some obnoxious condescending individual when I come for help and I pay good money for it.
Read on Google →Excellent service at Northlands Vetinary. Staff that really do care and want to genuinely help. Reception staff are welcoming, very helpful, friendly, patient and caring. Our dog Luna was diagnosed and treated by 2 wonderful young vets Charlotte and Callum. They were both highly knowledgeable, so caring and patient towards Luna and us! Luna has now been given the all clear thanks to their expertise. We highly recommend them. Also to Jo, one of the wonderful vetinary nurses. Thank you so much to you all.
Read on Google →What excellent service and support the team gave my miniature dachshund Ruby over the weekend. Ruby is a diabetic senior girl who was vomiting and unwell so I decided to call them as they have dealt with her before. Met Emily (Veterinarian) who gave the examination and decided it was best to keep her in and monitor with medication. Initially I was apprehensive as Ruby doesn’t like to be away from us but I understood that it was the best option. Emily was thorough and very caring and I felt Ruby was in safe hands. After updates, we were able to collect her today and Ruby looked much better and energetic which made us feel so relieved. As Ruby will never be over her diabetes the uncertainty will always remain but knowing that the advice, care and treatment given by Emily and the team was first class, we are totally thankful and can only recommend them to all pet owners. Thank you team.
