When we found out that Milo had an aggressive Cancer they were all amazingly quick to support and get it sorted, treated, tested and removed. Everyone we dealt with was super honest, informative and compassionate. We loved how invested you were into his journey and now he’s so much better! Thank you all so much for everything you did for us! My wife and are are very very very grateful!
Read on Google →Friendly enough staff but had a pretty bad experience just now. My dog had eaten a lot of chocolate and the person watching him didn't let me know for over an hour. Took him straight to the vets as soon as I found out. They recommended that he be given an injection to make him vomit. I asked if the fact it had been over an hour or two would have any affect on whether it would work. They told me that 4 hours is the cut off. They took my dog injected him and I was allowed to wait in a room with him. After 45 minutes and some pretty bad side effects including hyper ventilating, back leg spasming and my dog being very uncomfortable, only the smallest amount of vomit came up. I was told by the vets after the injection what the side effects would be and I was then told that if he hasnt eaten for the day so far and that if it had been over an hour it increases the chances the injection won't cause vomiting. I was given charcoal and asked to pay the £272 bill which I did pay and sent on my way. If I was told about the side effects especially if I had been told about it being over an hour and having end empty stomach lowers the chances of it working I would never have put my dog through that
Read on Google →Went in with a throat problem with my cat, wich wasn’t life threathening, it was obvious even for me who i’m not a doctor, that she had some sort of inflamation /virus. the only investigation wich they offered wich is even the most expensive is that to have her under anesthesia and put a camera down the throat . quoted me £2,450 for this only! without the consultation price etc. I was devastated. told them i cannot afford this at the moment, and if there is any other options of investigation. obviously came out with no other option on the table only this. Didn’t gave up, and went to another vet in potters bar. finally found a vet who don’t work only for a profit but they actually understand , help and give advices. and guess what , after only blood test the result came back positive for FIV virus! so , actually there is other sort of investigations to be done, not only the most expensive ones and don’t give other choices to your clients. Therefore, the review. Medivet, you proven me wrong! it costed me £135 for a consultation+ blood test , and had my answer to my cat’s problem , a result ,with another vet. also, my cousin from another country she is a vet. told me that it was insane the fact that they didn't even at least tried to take the blood test as first thing , or other investigations to take in consideration. I feel fooled. but im glad that i didn't given up, and went for other vets. Medivet, sorry, but you lost another client. keep the money, for the “visual consultation and a chit chat with me, but remember, you are playing with some lives out there. and better start changing ure attitude towards those animals, not just ripping people’s pockets off. thank you.
Read on Google →Amazing experience with Medivet Waltham Abbey. The team are kind, friendly and caring, everything you could ask for in a vet! It was a warm welcome as it was my first time. All my questions were answered, really great tips and reassurance as a first time puppy owner. My appointment was not rushed, we were seen on time and overall a lovely and clean environment. I highly recommend and I am so glad I have chosen this vet.
Read on Google →We had the pleasure of meeting Jess this evening! She spent her time examining our puppy, informing us of how to manage and check her weight as she grows and explained each flea treatment in detail. She was so informative and clear in her explanations and reasonings. She was very gentle with our puppy and took the time to make sure she felt comfortable. She allowed time for questions and gave her a head to tail check. Thank you so much Jess !
