Lovely vets. Have been going since my dog was a pup and have always found them friendly and professional. I have the plan for 6 monthly health check ups and find this is really good value for money as includes a thorough check up,, routine vaccinations and flea and worm treatmentss. Would recommend them.

Good care, but be prepared for very high costs (4 times cost! compare to local independent vet) Thank you to the team at Medivet for seeing my cat so quickly during a very stressful time. The staff were kind, professional, and reassuring, and we greatly appreciated that he was assessed without delay. However, I was shocked by the cost of treatment. The initial assessment and diagnostic work were quoted at around £2,000, with the full treatment estimated at approximately £4,000, including just one overnight stay. For example, we were quoted £500 for an X-ray, whereas a local independent veterinary practice later charged £45 for the same procedure. In the end, our cat was treated at Passey Place Veterinary Surgery, where a professional and caring team successfully unblocked his bladder and provided excellent care. The total bill came to around £1,000, which included a full week of hospitalisation, monitoring, and supervision. Compared with Medivet's estimate, this was approximately 1/4 of the cost, despite our cat receiving a longer period of care and observation. After speaking with neighbours and obtaining quotations from other vets in the area, we found that comparable treatment and care could often be provided at a significantly lower cost. While I understand that emergency and referral services may charge a premium, the difference in pricing was difficult to justify. I am genuinely grateful for the prompt attention my cat received and have no complaints about the compassion or professionalism of the staff. However, I believe pet owners should be aware of the potential costs before proceeding, especially if they do not have comprehensive pet insurance. The quality of care was good, but the pricing felt substantially higher than what many families could reasonably afford.

My dog Archie had 2 grass seeds, one in his ear and one in his paw. He got an appointment on the same day. He was sedated and the grass seeds were removed. Great service and the staff really cannot do enough for you. Would definitely recommend this vets. Thank you for looking after Archie.
