I just want to say that all the staff at this particular vets practice were fantastic. Sadly I had a very poorly 11 year old Leonberger - "Darcy" who they diagnosed with diabetes, they were wonderful with her and she made a miraculous recovery for approx 6months then she declined rapidly and we decided it was time to say good bye. At this point the vet again was fantastic so kind with enormous empathy and compassion. They gently sedated her first so she was in a lovely relaxed sleep before her final injection which I had not experienced before ,this was so much more peaceful and gentle . As heart breaking as it was, I was deeply comforted by their approach at this awful time .So a big Thank you" to this practice I can only highly recommend ........ Recently moved my dog to blakemere and so glad I did. We’ve watched him deteriorate recently as cancer set in and spent many agonising days trying to decide what to do for the best. They provided the most sensitive and compassionate end of life experience at home and this has helped me enormously in starting to come to terms with the loss of my fantastic pal of 13 years. Thank you

I still want to know were Becky lives or works. After my mother spending thousands of pounds over several years on her dog coco becky decided to steal about £200 from her by making up a illness the dog never had. after taking the dog to another vet to proof to myself she was thieving and when i had the time to pursue getting my mums money back ( which i will) i will go see her but she had left blakemere and had gone to one of the british isles, before i found that out Blakemere vets lied in my face saying that they have never had a becky working there, the absolute liars as she was one of the ones who treated mums dog for 6 years, i knew she was light fingered by this time thats why i got a second opinion and i know they knew she was like that as well. What made it worse was the secretary heather was laughing her socks of as i was paying the bill ( not for the first time either) so they probably had a thing going between them. Be careful if you have to use blakemere vets but i would avoid if possible

This practice have provided a professional, responsive and great value service to us for our pets for a number of years. We can’t thank the lovely team and vet Sue Allen for her recent warm, compassionate, kind and reassuring end of life care for our elderly and poorly cat allowing us to have the gentlest and most peaceful of experiences. We would recommend the practice and team ,from the friendly welcome at reception to the expert veterinary treatment and care wholeheartedly.
