We have been with Colne Valley for well over 10 years for dogs, chickens, ducks ... and highly recommend for their overall care of pets and owners. I'd like to give particular thanks to the team who revived my terrier using CPR while she was having an operation on her paw. Not only did they save my dog but the aftercare was fantastic and each time she has been back for her paw checks team members chat to her and check how she is, even if they weren't part of surgical team that saved her on the day! Yes, I have used different vets previously and no the experience wasn't anything like this and actually put me off wanting to take my dogs to them but my dogs are always happy coming here and are always welcomed warmly. Thankyou to the whole team for making pet care feel so supportive.

We saw Neal this afternoon with our very stressed 8 year old cat attending for his annual vaccinations. I cannot recommend him highly enough. So kind and compassionate both to my husband, myself and our cat. Quite a contrast to the experience we received previously at our local vet in Mersea. Thank you so much.

    • Due to previous Vets of the past 20 years or so, being trained to promote certain vet approved foods, and pressing for sometimes un-needed regular medications to be had....we've limited our trips to see a vet. HOWEVER THIS VET WAS DIFFERENT...She was treating our elderly poodle of 16 or 17 very much as an individual. She suggested less expensive ways to manage Emma....but this wasn't anything that would harm Emma or create a cycle of us not having Emma checked by her. We feel Emma was treated holistically, kindly but firmly when necessary but respectfully. Thank you Dr Alison. We are very grateful for your care.

    • Colne Valley are a wonderful vets. All the staff are very kind, caring and friendly and make you feel welcome and looked after. We are particularly very fond of veterinarian Nish Bird, who has, as is presently, navigated us through some particularly tough times and complicated health issues of my dogs. At present Nish is looking after my very sick little dog Harry and is being fantastic, as always. Nish is very kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable which is helping us through this stressful and emotional time. With 6 elderly dogs, all with age related issues, we need a lot of support and care and Colne Valley Vets could not be better at looking after us. Thankyou everybody, especially Nish, for your kindness and care which is second to none.
