Read on Google →Very sadly, After recently loosing our beautiful male cat to a careless driver outside home, Cherrydown handled the situation wonderfully. He had gone before a caring neighbour had arrived with him, Cherrydown provided a blanket to snuggle him into and a 'quiet' room to be able to say our heartfelt goodbye. A few days after the tragic accident, they sent a lovely sympathy card to us, which was a lovely personal touch. Thank you for being so professional and caring towards our boy, "Woody"
Read on Google →First ever vet visit with new adopted dog who needed a check over which we got within 3 days. Lovely service, great staff and the vet was quick, efficient and caring. Two short courses of pills and the standard consultation fee £78. Seems reasonable so far Unusually I noticed something important to report si asked to see a manager as had an important message for them, won't share the reason until its addressed but its not due to pet welfare. The free help which should have been fixed in 2 minutes was acknowledged and i wasn't thanked for it and it remains the same 5 days later. Please phone me if my advice is needed please Update 2025 my dawg returns after 3 years and was treated quickly and efficiently, advice and medication provided and I believe the cost seemed reasonable, follow up appointment booked. Recognised one of the staff from last time who was fantastic then and fantastic today. Nicola T is a credit to the practice, made a fuss of my dawg and was naturally concerned and interested what was prescribed.
Read on Google →Dads cat Bailey had been under the weather for about 4 days. Hardly eating and being sick. After a visit to Cherry Down vets and some madication and waiting on blood test results Bailey seemed a lot better. Eating and drinking. The only down side was the price. Blood test, tablets, cost to see the vet. A Total of £247 which had to be paid the same day. Dads 85 years old. Pensioners shouldn't have to pay this amount of money. Later the same day I did ring Cherrydown to ask if they did a discount for over 65 but the nice receptionist said unfortunately they don't and did recommend giving the PDSA . Dads on no benefits for not sure if dad would be entitled to see the PDSA. isn't it mining for all the people on bloody benefits who shouldn't even have pets if they can afford them. My dad has worked all he's life and never ever been on benefits. The price yesterday was rediclous. I did ask the vet why does the blood test cost so much she said it's just what it costs 😪
