My poor review is based on the fact that this vet surgery is part of a larger group company. The Cleckheaton staff are lovely. My dog loves scratches from Stacey. Stacey recognizes me and my dog’s needs when on the phone and in the surgery. She has a lovely personality and obviously loves animals. Ammar actually recognized my dog when we had to visit Morley site, he took the time to ask what was wrong. A lovely touch. My issues relate to very limited opening times. Only being opened every other Saturday just doesn’t work. Other site receptionists assume that it’s easy to get to another site. And the prices are high. Each of these poor issues relate to how the company is set up. I get that profit is required but the blatant approach is off putting. There are independent vets nearby and I will be using one of these.

I've read the reviews about this Veterinary practice and I personally have nothing but praise for our Cleckheaton branch. Our little dog Odie was diagnosed with diabetes 19 months ago and with the vets and all staff (especially Stacey) Odie was happy and comfortable until the end. I can't praise the vet at Morley (Hazal) enough, she was so good with Odie at the end, she had tears in her eyes and the 2 nurses who put Odie's canula in where so kind, they spoke gently to Odie all the time. They couldn't do enough and where so caring and sympathetic and nothing was rushed, we where allowed as much time as we needed. When we went to collect Odie's ashes, the presentation was so thoughtful and again Stacey was kind and gentle, allowing us the time we needed to enable us to take him home. A big thank you from our hearts to all the staff involved in Odie's care from him being a puppy until his peaceful sleep.

Took my old pup here due to growth on his face. Very empathetic but truthful and realistic. Then time came... the receptionist was very considerate, and did her best to get me an appointment for him to go to sleep. (We didn't need the appointment) Yet we still got a card from them passing on their condolences. Such a small but valued gesture.. xxx
