Absolutely outstanding care! Finding a vet you can fully trust is invaluable, and this family-run practice is a true gem. The entire team shows such genuine love, patience, and compassion toward the animals. They take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and never make you feel rushed. It’s incredibly reassuring to know our beloved pets are in such skilled and caring hands. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Read on Google →We’ve been coming to the vet for a year now, since they were kittens and just returned from their yearly booster and claw clipping. Lily and Forrest are very frightened of the vet (probably because it became their 2nd home when they were very unwell as kittens) but they are always treated so kindly and patiently and given the best of care. I could not fault them and highly recommend if you are looking for a vet. They know your name so it feels personal and are always happy to answer questions. Thank you to Karmen and her team for making us feel so welcome. Charlotte, Lily & Forrest 💗 x
Read on Google →I have been with King Street vets almost from the time they opened. My daughter was the first in my family to join the practice and it was her that persuaded me to leave the vets practice that I was with at the time, and to join King Street vets. I am so glad I did as the experience I have had at this practice Is so different to my experience elsewhere. With other vets I saw a different vet every visit. This is a privately owned practice and it shows. All the staff genuinely love animals and it’s so refreshing to see the same vets and nursing staff every time. My dog Dylan who sadly passed away was looked by Dr Karmen. From the outset I was impressed by her skill in diagnosing his health issues and prescribing a treatment plan making sure he was as comfortable as possible into his old age. I have since got another dog Dani and he recently had a minor op and is recovering well. He has just had his post op check up with nurse Carmel and I was so impressed by the gentleness and care with which she and another nurse handled him. He is a big German Shepard and is very nervous at the vets but they managed to examine him and treat him in a way that minimised his stress. All the staff are absolutely lovely. They genuinely care so much about the animals under their care and have been so supportive and kind to me, my daughters and the many pets we have between us! I highly recommend them.
Read on Google →I honestly couldn’t rate King Street Vets more highly. My Labrador, Queenie, has a number of ongoing health issues and allergies, which has been incredibly distressing to manage at times. Ever since we moved to King Street from a much less good vet, the difference has been remarkable. From the very beginning, Karmen and Filipe have been outstanding — not only clinically excellent, but also kind, patient, and deeply reassuring. They’ve helped us navigate Queenie’s complex needs with such thoughtful, constructive, and easy‑to‑understand advice. Every treatment plan has been clearly explained, carefully considered, and tailored specifically to her, which has made a huge difference to both Queenie’s wellbeing and my own peace of mind. I also want to give a special shout‑out to Filipe, who is currently managing Queenie’s second cruciate ligament rupture with real expertise and care. The standard of treatment and support throughout has been exceptional. And it’s not just Karmen and Filipe — the whole team are fantastic: warm, helpful, and genuinely caring, which makes every visit so much easier. Despite everything she’s been through, Queenie still wags her tail when we arrive at the front door, which says it all. We feel incredibly lucky to have such a brilliant practice looking after her — they truly go above and beyond.
Read on Google →I honestly cannot thank the team at King Street Vets enough for the care, compassion, and support they have shown my dogs over the years. Most recently, they treated my dog Audrey as an emergency and got her in straight away. The care she received was absolutely incredible — attentive, gentle, and genuinely from the heart. You can tell every single member of the team truly cares about the animals they look after. They were also there for me during one of the hardest moments, when I had to say goodbye to my dog Goldie. The kindness, patience, and compassion they showed during that time meant more to me than words can express. They made such a painful experience feel held and supported, and I will never forget that. King Street Vets have always gone above and beyond, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pets. Vet surgeon Carmen Vet surgeon Phill, and all of your amazing team thank you for everything you do, and the love you show my precious fur babies. Love Jade and Audrey 🐾
