This is the best vets experience we’ve ever had. The vet was kind and knowledgeable and talked us through different options and recommended the best course of action for our dog. Rather than jumping straight to needing an xray. He gave us helpful advice about prevention and management of our dogs condition too. On top of this, the price was so much more reasonable compared to other places we have been. Highly recommend!

We love our pets, that's a given, but it's not always easy to look after their needs when money is tight and you don't qualify for PDSA care. I found Hill Park vets when my dogs needed dental treatment. Through recommendations on Facebook I discovered a practice where the welfare of the animals comes before profits. In this day and age I call that a blessing. In March 2025 it was discovered that one of my dogs, Lottie, 13 years old, had malignant melanoma of the mouth. It was agreed surgery was the best option but unfortunately, not all cells could be removed. Every vet I have seen there have been compassionate and honest. The tumour has re-grown but the consensus from the vets I've seen is given her age, it would not be fair on Lottie to put her through more surgery as the outcome will not change (it is an aggressive cancer). Lottie has lived longer than the expected prognosis but she has had a life long ear problem. Yesterday she was prescribed steroids and drops to alleviate her ear discomfort. We hope to keep her comfortable in every way.
