  The team at Vets4Pets, Hertford, are fantastic. They take time to get to make Gracie, my dog, comfortable. There is no rush and they listen to concerns. Marianne, the owner was very thougher when Gracie was quite unwell and spent time making her feel comfortable and was very gentle. The reception staff Angie and Chloe are friendly and again always make Gracie welcome. I dont feel treatment is over priced and because we pay a monthly plan we receive 2 free consultations a year I'd always recommend Vets4Pets Hertford.

  I booked yesterday for an appointment today. This was the first time using Vets4pets so I completed an online form, spoke to someone on the phone to confirm the appointment and went today only to be told we weren't booked in and weren't registered on the system. After showing the reception staff the email, they eventually found our details but didn't know who I spoke to and had no availability. There was not one word of apology for their mistake. The first person virtually shrugged her shoulders and the second one tried to justify it by saying they didn't have our dog's previous notes. We eventually left in disgust and will not go back.

  I can't say enough good things about the vets here and all their staff. When they discovered my dog was very ill during a routine examination I thought that was going to be the end of him, but they managed to get him seen by a specialist and operated on within a week and he's now fully recovered. The staff are so friendly and my dog always gets such a warm greeting from them that I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. 10/10

  Cannot fault this whole team, my latest addition was neutered recently, not a straight forward neutering with only 1 testicle! they were brilliant with him and me, the stressed mum :) Elwood is healing well and loves the Hertford team - mentions to Marina, Angie, Ellie and thanks for the hugs Chloe!

  Vets for Pets in Hertford are, without doubt, the kindest and most compassionate veterinary team we’ve ever encountered. They took exceptional care of our beloved cat, Gingi, throughout his later years, always treating him with patience, warmth, and genuine affection. Marina, our designated vet, was truly outstanding. She consistently went above and beyond to support Gingi’s ongoing heart condition, showing extraordinary care and professionalism at every stage. In his final moments, she handled everything with such tenderness and dignity. We could not have asked for a more gentle, thoughtful, or comforting farewell, and we will always be grateful that she was there to guide us through it. The kindness didn’t end there—Vets for Pets even sent us a handwritten card expressing their condolences for the loss of our precious boy. That small gesture meant the world to us and perfectly reflects the compassion of the whole team. I cannot recommend Vets for Pets Hertford highly enough. A huge thank you to Marina and the entire team for the love, expertise, and care they showed Gingi throughout his long life. We will always be grateful. XX
