The pet plan is a great idea especially as it includes every vaccine and 6 monthly check ups. The Rhwbina vets is always 100% the best vets I’ve ever used. No matter the animal they interact and show genuine love and care for each pet. Always highly recommended for his branch. Unfortunately the Danescourt branch is hit and miss. It all depends on what vet you get. So far I’ve only had 2 highly recommendable veterinary doctors in the matter of a few years which is disappointing. But those two vets that did make my experience one to talk about were amazing. They were confident they were friendly. They were hands on and loving to my pet and fully informative with advice and next steps.

I asked if this vets could spay my female cat who is very likely to be pregnant since her first season. As I’m on UC she is registered with the PDSA and they have a vast waiting list for this service, so they recommend that you seek help with a private vet practice. Even though this is my most local vet, I was told that they wouldn’t do anything for a cat registered elsewhere. To this I responded so I have an animal in need and you won’t help her? The receptionist flatly said “No!” I reiterated that I would be happy to pay and register her with them; yet still a firm “No!” What type of vet turns an animal / pet owner in need away, when they clearly need help?! I would NOT recommend a vets that sticks to weird and unusual policies regarding potential new customers and their pets.

Am considering legal action as I had my dog put down after Mr Broughton convinced me she had bone cancer in her leg. I had thought it was a dislocated shoulder after a fall in the house. No tests, or x-rays were done and did not realise this was negligence. He also convinced me the swelling around my other dogs back end was his anal glands. He had nerve damage of some sort to his back legs. I took both of them back repeatedly as I was not happy with the diagnosis. A junior vet thought it was a dislocated shoulder for one and an infection in the other. Mr Broughton was present on both occasions and rubbished her each time. Unfortunately I believed the owner. I have written a previous review but it appears to have gone into the ether! Let's hope this can be viewed to prevent someone else's pet being put down!!

Always a calm and caring environment. Jess is extremely efficient and knowledgeable. She takes time to explain treatment options and costs involved clearly. Although busy the whole team takes time to ensure both pet and owner looked after with dignity and respect.
