Great vets, but as a cat owner you are forced sit in a small enclosed area of the reception room. It’s quite claustrophobic and stressful. Would be better if one was allowed to choose this as an option rather than being forced.

Our dog Rocky had lost vision in one eye and didn't have very good in the other eye as he had a cataract. Was recommended by our vets to use Dr Doolittles to have cataract surgery. Our dog is 12 but otherwise in very good health. Was told by surgeon there was a 20 per cent chance surgery would be unsuccessful to restore vision. Paid the £3700 and went ahead with surgery. For three weeks vision was fine even though struggled with meds. Then developed a clot which we believe was from the surgery. Had to pay another £400 to have that removed and as a result of the second op caused a detached retina which left our dog blind which we still are absolutely devastated as he still hasn't really adjusted inside. The surgeon then said in his opinion our dog was in alot of pain around his eye which I disagreed with and for £1600 could remove the eye the next day. I said we'd think about it as didn't believe he was in pain which proved right as no further issues up to now thank God. I understand every surgery is a risk but felt after the surgeries the surgeon was quick to want to carry out the third surgery and hence an extra £1600. Due to the unsuccessful surgery on our dog and the quickness on wanting to carry out the extra surgery at end I would not recommend this surgery or company. Saying that the staff were absolutely fantastic and seem to really care about the animals.

We've always had such amazing help and treatment with our 2 cats for the past 5 years. The staff and the vets are all so caring and so lovely when they are examining either of my 2 cats. So professional but it's as tho they are treating their own animals and that is certainly saying such a lot. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thankyou all so very much. You are all a great example of your profession!! God Bless you All xxxx
