  My Cockapoo Bear has had to have TPLO surgery due to torn Cruciate ligaments. He has had the best care from everyone at this Veterinary Practice as have I. They go above and beyond . We are 6 weeks into the recovery process. Communication has been excellent alongside professionalism, support and care. We still have a way to go but I know we are in good hands that I can trust for Bear to achieve the best outcome in his recovery. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

  We have been clients of Vets4Pets Gravesend for years with our Shih Tzu, Teddy, and previously our cat. When we recently got a new puppy, we decided to register him there too, despite now living around 25 minutes away. The registration process was unnecessarily complicated. We were told we couldn’t register over the phone and had to use the app. Once that was completed, we were then told we couldn’t book an appointment until vaccination records had been sent via WhatsApp. Only after providing all of this information were we finally able to book an appointment. This evening we had an appointment at 6:15pm for our puppy’s second vaccination. Unfortunately, due to traffic and being diverted down a one-way system, we arrived around 10 minutes late. I completely accept that we were late. However, what I do not accept is being refused any consultation whatsoever, despite arriving within the appointment time. We were simply told that the vet would not see us because there would not be enough time to complete the appointment. The vet did not come out to speak to us, discuss options, or make any effort to help. What I find most surprising is that this was a brand-new puppy registration. Surely this is the stage where veterinary practices should be building relationships with new owners and welcoming them into the practice. A puppy is not a one-off appointment; it’s potentially 15-17 years of ongoing veterinary care. As a business owner myself, I understand the value of nurturing new clients and creating loyalty from the beginning. Instead, we were made to feel like an inconvenience. After the lengthy registration process, a 25-minute journey, and already being existing clients of the practice, the complete lack of flexibility or customer care was incredibly disappointing. As a result, we have asked for both of our dogs to be deregistered and will be moving to a veterinary practice closer to home. Very disappointing experience.

  Absolutely cannot fault these guys, I have an older Jack Russell he's 15, they have been absolutely amazing managing and treating his health problems, and are very good at communicating with myself as the owner, they are reassuring and very caring

  I have had two very disappointing experiences with this veterinary clinic: The first time, my appointment was lost, even though I had booked it correctly. The second time, they scheduled an appointment for my adult dog’s vaccination on 28th February 2028. When I arrived, I was told to wait, and later I had to leave without the vaccination due to poor organization and lack of respect towards clients. My dog is fully vaccinated; the issues were solely related to how they handled appointments and communication. For these reasons, I will be changing my veterinarian and I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone who values professional organization and respect.

  Vets for Pets; the place that pets’ dream of. Like a mother who nurtures her child, the need to find the best in services for my pet is essential. The moment I walked into the shop, of which I have been into many times since adopting our beautiful feline bundle of joy! The atmosphere is pleasant. I had to stop myself from straying to purchase more products for our very spoilt, but deserved Caesar. My aim was to take him to his first Consultancy appointment at our new vet. New for us that is. Vets for Pets sits at the back of the Pets at Home store in the heart of Gravesend. Surprisingly enough, our Caesar never made a peep; which was unusual because every single time he attended our previous vets, he trembled almost in fear. Almost that is, and of course that is my opinion. But Caesar seemed more curious than anything as he sat calmly in his luxury cat carrier. Unfortunately, I got the date wrong and arrived a week early! Next time I will clarify the date when I book rather than relying on ‘see you Saturday then’. Nevertheless, the very friendly receptionist managed to accommodate by squeezing me in, but I had to wait 20min. That wasn’t a problem so I waited. When we were called in by another very welcoming face of one of the vets, Paul, he was friendly, chatty, answered all my questions regarding Caesar and his eating habits, and Caesar sat there just looking, curious, and just didn’t seem bothered about being handled by someone new. I even got to see him being weighed, which I never did from he was a kitten at our provisional vets. I was even more surprised of the very reasonable price of the visit and his treatment. Plus, although they offer Pet plan, of which I will consider for the future, I didn’t feel it was obligatory as I had felt with our old vets. All I can say, in fact, I have plenty to say, but I will try and limit my word count so I’m not sounding repetitive, that this place is just what we have been looking for. And yes, Caesar has a say in it too! All the reception staff that we came across during our visit were friendly, smiley and genuinely interested in Caesar. The only thing I have left to question is why I didn’t make the move earlier. Highly recommended.
