Have been with gopet a while now after moving from a corporate vet. My older girl sadly had to be put to sleep last year, staff were understanding, kind, put my dog at ease and helpful in a emotional situation. Received lovely keepsakes when I picked her up from her last ever visit. My younger girl absolutely loves going to the vets (she almost runs to the door), she enjoys cuddles and affection from all the staff. The staff are always friendly, helpful and welcoming. If treatment needed, the vets explain procedures, medication, prices ect, clearly, answer any questions, give sound advice and options. So glad I found a vets practice that both my dogs love and I trust them with the care of, which to me are the most important things. If my dogs happy, I'm happy!

Only been with them for a couple of months. I was with “Sussex Coast vets” previously but after they supplied me with standard ear drops for my dog and charged me £55 for them, I googled the ear drops brand and found that I could have ordered them online for £15 including delivery. They were not prescription ear drops. That really annoyed me and showed what type of attitude they have to their customers! I cancelled my plan with Sussex vets the next day. So GoPet. Only used them once as my dog had a stiff neck, and could not shake his head. He’s only 5 but looked like he was in his old age. Having recently registered my dog I Booked an appointment on the Monday, and felt in very capable hands. I had googled what could be wrong with my dog and read online about unnecessary recommendations so I did wonder whether the vet would recommend an X-ray after examining him, to be sure. This would have been overkill, expensive and the vet should be able to assess the dog and the need for further examination such as X-rays. AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THE VET DID! My dog was examined, assessed and the vet gave his professional opinion that it was likely to be a muscle strain and that simple pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs would be all that’s required. Here I am 3 weeks later and the dog is back to his normal self, chasing the ball on the sea front. The pain killers were not cheap, but that’s fine and I have no issue with the cost in this case. More importantly I was not recommended to have an XRay when it wasn’t required. Thank you GoPets. You have restored some of my faith in vets!

As a vets, they are helpful/friendly/caring/informative, with a clearly displayed pricelist & I wouldn't hesitate to bring my Labrador here again if he needs help. He had a minor operation to remove a couple of tumours earlier in the year & I couldn't have been kept more informed or put at ease! We actually swapped to GoPet, as they offer home euthanasia. I'm hoping we wont need that service for many years to come, but when that day comes, it helps me to know my (nearly 11yr old deaf boy) will begin his next journey surrounded by home comforts & his loving family. For the last 4 weeks however, we have attended a sniff session at the practice which my boy absolutely loves! It's a safe, dry environment where he does what he does best - sniff out treats & gets plenty of cuddles along the way. Thank you to all the lovely staff! ❤️

We had to call Mike out to put our old girl to sleep. As per usual the standard of care from Mike and his team is simply brilliant. He makes a sad situation the best possible. Great independent vet

We are new to GoPet and I am honestly so impressed and delighted with their service. I had to have something looked at with my dog and vet Charlotte was brilliant. Understood that my dog who is nervous of vets, needed time to get to know her before exploring the issue we came in for. She sat on the ground with a tub of treats and made friends with her. This has totally changed how my dog feels about the vet visits and when we came in for a follow up, instead of having a scared worried dog, she happily trotted in and was happy to be seen even by a different vet Dimitri, who again was happy to sit on the floor with her to make friends before checking her over. Wonderfully welcoming and accomodating receptionist too when i wanted to bring my other dog in to just familiarise him with the new vets, she gave him some treats to make him feel welcome. Keep doing what you are doing because vet practices like yours are hard to find!
