Took Holly my cat for an ECG, she made a mess in the cat carrier the staff cleaned her up, the vet explained everything clearly and concisely, she explained medication and why we need to give it to her, very thorough and efficient vet practice, from reception ladies, nurses and vet. Would highly recommend

The hardest thing is to have to recognise that your much loved pet is not living a good life anymore and there’s nothing you or your veterinary practice can make any better. So when you have to make that brave ultimate decision you need the reassurance guidance and compassion to guide you through such an emotional time. Thank you to so much to the lovely staff at Fromus who helped us through this distressing time, and the lovely follow up message that gave us additional strength as we mourned our wonderful Labrador, Paddy.

After many decades and several thousand spent at this practice I have moved to another. No problem with the care of my pet but admin is another story. I made a minor request which was largely ignored as was the feedback and complaint I sent after. I have no idea if it was passed on to the vets as requested. It’s a shame complaints handling (or lack of) isn’t dealt with as rigorously as billing. The same bill emailed (which I had already paid) 5 times in one day followed by a letter! I am insured and have always paid so heavy-handed would be an understatement. I have completed complaints handling training myself and this experience bears no resemblance to it.

Really impressed by Fromus Vets in Saxmundham. During our holiday in Southwold, our 14-month old Working Cocker Spaniel decided it would be an awesome idea to eat a pair of socks. A slightly panicked call and within 40 minutes Penny was being checked out and treated accordingly with 3 socks emerging. Throughout, the staff were superb, particularly Sue for taking our call and the brilliant Veterinary Nurse who explained the treatment and looked after Penny. Thanks to the team, you have a wonderful practice.
