Overall not the worst vets but there is so much room for improvement. To preface, we have a rescue cat. The waiting room is a huge issue and terribly stressful for nervous animals, especially cats. I don’t think the wall between sections is enough and still means cats can small dogs, automatically putting them on edge. My cat had an appointment in December where we got there exactly on time but was made to wait for 45 minutes with no real explanation as to what was happening, all the while my cat is shaking in her crate and having to wait unnecessarily. Anyone registered to this vet is likely local and they have my address so there is no reason to not call me ahead of time and tell me there is a delay so to come slightly later. I would rather wait at home where my cat is comfortable instead of in the sub-par waiting area. Regarding the appointments themselves, there is little to no personability from the nurses and we have seen a different one each time we’ve been which says a lot. I have also found that this means you find yourself repeating yourself when it comes to the medical history/background of your pet. If you can’t guarantee the same nurse each time, then any additional information should be written in my pet’s report in each appointment so that other nurses are aware. I never saw this happen.

Skilled and caring vets and nurses who put my dog back together after he was hit by a car, injuring both his back legs. Everyone in the practice was so kind and my dog still loves to go in - even after several surgeries- because he loves the staff so much!

Thanks to Toby and Amy for trying to save our beloved Charlie she suffered from a hit and run, and they all tried to save her . Yet again, I had to do the dirty deed and stop her suffering. It does not get any easier, but as the owner, you must ALWAYS be the last voice they hear . Thanks, Farthings.

Having had 24 hrs to find a new vet after being with another for over 25 yrs had closed with no notice, Farthings took us on and fast tracked our 16 yr old cat as he was due his monthly arthritis injection with no hesitation. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with open arms. Sarah was exceptional with her care and gentleness with Bailey. We have hit the jackpot finding Farthings. Thank you all for such excellent service.
