  Took Eleanor, my ginger female cat to see this vet for emergency toilet issues. Both receptionist and specialist on duty were super friendly. I walked in quite nervous and overwhelmed but the clinic was very calm and clean. Seen almost immediately, they did a thorough check over and prescribed meds. Fingers crossed she's on the mend but a fantastic out of hours clinic to go to. Thank you both so much

  I can’t put into words how grateful we are to Cameron and the whole team at Arthur Lodge. Our indoor cat managed to get out and was missing for 4 days in 36° heat. He was found and we collected him and immediately took him to Arthur Lodge. Oscar was practically lifeless when we arrived as later found out he had had no food or fluids for the 4 days. Cameron immediately took him in and was placed in life support and an oxygen chamber and we were told potentially we could lose Oscar in as little as 20 minutes. 60 hours later we have collected Oscar who is still very fragile but on the mend. He’s now walking around, eating and drinking and back being the king of the house!! Compared to how he was just 2 days previous I cannot believe it. We visited him after a day and even the staff told us they were shocked and ecstatic that when they came back to work the following morning Oscar was still alive. You have literally saved his life and we will all be eternally grateful for what you have done for Oscar and we now have him home where he belongs. Thankyou so much.

  Arthur lodge vets saved our cat Oscar’s life. Oscar had been missing for a few days in 30 degree heat and when found was in a very bad way literally life or death as he was dehydrated and gasping for air and we thought he had lost him. The nurses and doctors acted rapidly to save him with oxygen, fluids and X-rays right away and was put in an oxygen tank after 12hrs to help him breathe as he had fluid on his lungs. After two days he was ready to come home and start his journey to recovery and we can’t thank Arthur lodge staff enough for saving our precious Oscar

  AVOID this dreadful place! I took my mum with her dog who was dying after a short battle from cancer. We had rang before our arrival to explain the situation and urgency. ( they had already seen this particular dog weeks before) He was already passing so he needed to be seem straight away. On arrival my mum was stood in the waiting room in front of people carrying her half dead dog. No urgency or empathy and no dignity for my mums beloved dog in his final moments. I sat outside the building with my small children and I could see my mum through the window from the street into the consultation room weeping ALONE over her dying dog in the room with door wide open. Might I add there was other customers sat in the waiting room. I decided to go in with my babies so she wasn’t alone until the vets came into the room to put him to sleep. It was not a peaceful or dignified last moments for my mums beloved dog. All staffed showed no compassion or care towards my mum and her dog. Please note this is not our normal vet but the emergency vet we was sent to and had no other choice. This is the second bad experience with the same dog my mum has had with this veterinary practice. No one or dog should be treated this way. What was an already traumatic time made so much worse. Would never recommend and will certainly never use Arthur Lodge again!

  I just want to say a huge thank you! The last two days have been hell trying to nurse my bun back to health after dental work was carried out on him at my local vet, however the out of hours advice I have been given by the vets here have really helped me alot in this rough time. With their advice and encouragement my bun is now back to his usual self and is happily eating as well as flopping about like a happy, healthy rabbit. Thank You! 😀😊
