  Great vet. We have 2 dogs and 5 cats and so we spend a fair bit of time there. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and they genuinely love the animals.

  Took my cat Luna for her first time to this vets a few weeks ago, she was very nervous but the minute we walked in to the vets and I placed her down at the cat station (there's 2 areas ) and also a cat blanket to cover her they have there. It instantly helped her she stayed calm as ever. I saw the male doc, and he was so lovely and gentle with luna, explained things in a lot of detail and everything went great. ❤️ best vets I've ever been to

  Our dear old dog, declining for a while, suddenly deteriorated the other evening. We thought it was serious and needed urgent attention. It was after 6pm, but Culverden Vets was open until 7pm. We rang and were told we could bring our dog in. The receptionist (veterinary nurse?) was very sympathetic and efficient, and offered our dog treats, which were enthusiastically accepted. We got to see the vet (Dr Phil Cusack) shortly afterwards, and he could not have been more professional, understanding, or thoughtful, explaining the (limited) options to us; and then reassuring our dog and our family (and providing more treats for our dog) while preparing to put our dog down. The options for dealing with the body were explained concisely and helpfully. When the time came, and the final injection went in, our dog went down quickly and peacefully. The process ended well past 7pm, and there was no rush or pressure because of the time. We were offered - and accepted - paw prints and bits of fur. These we picked up a couple of days later, when we paid the very reasonable bill - again there was no pressure. Culverden Vets made an inevitably upsetting experience as smooth and calm as possible. The service from Dr Cusack and the rest of the team was truly excellent, and not just highly professional, but extremely kind, both to our dog and to his humans.

  I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks to the receptionists I spoke to on 10th April as I was a bit of a mess and then were so lovely to me and Tom and Ange who came to my home to put my 21 year old cat Potter to sleep. At what was an incredibly hard time,The care and kindness shown was immense, supportive and tender. Potter had a peaceful And painless passing at home where he was happiest with his hoomans . I have been with culverden for 21 years who also care for my dogs, the health plan makes everything more affordable and the staff are always lovely and welcoming and kind.

  Phil and the team at Culverden are absolutely amazing! They are compassionate, professional, and truly care about the well-being of our two dogs. The staff are always friendly, and the office is clean and welcoming. I feel confident that they are in the best hands. Highly recommend!
