  I do not trust these vets. The first one, who had a strong accent, examined our young cat said he had a tumour. Of course I was devastated. Then another vet examined him and immediately ruled that out. She sent him for £3500 of tests at the Ringwood pet hospital. They still had no diagnosis. I said we could not afford to pay £1000s more for these stressful tests. She gave me some antibiotics as a last resort. The cat was very weak and dying. As I was leaving she said "well it might be x virus but you can't afford the treatment for that of course, too bad." Why not test for that in the first place, then? We paid elsewhere for treatment and our cat is now better, but no thank to these expensive and incompetent vets (I have heard Tom is a good vet though).

  Taken my cat here for a few appointments now. Was quite impressed initially as thought it was run very well etc, that was until I asked any questions. I took my cat in one day and was told it would be x amount for a surgery- i then contact them the next morning and all of a sudden the price has jumped up 10x- obviously this would be alarming for anyone as the price went from the hundreds to the thousands. I simply questioned why it had gone up 10x in 24 hours and was just told it was a different vet and that I was ‘giving attitude’. I continued to try and explain that I was just trying to get to the bottom of why the information I had been told the day before had been so different to what i’m getting told now but in their eyes that escalated the situation. Once again it’s a classic case of a receptions at the vets- everything’s all good whilst they’re taking your money but the second you have a question then you are instigating the problem. Big shame as it’s always a sensitive subject when it comes to not being in a financial position to support your own animals- you would think that the receptionists would have some form of training in de escalating situations but as normal they sit on their pedestal and make sure you remember who’s in charge. Other than that, the actual vets there seem to know what they’re doing and look after the animals

  I didn't have a very good experience here at all. Ended up being seen nearly 40 minutes after my appointment time and no explanation or apology was given for the delay. I was also told off by a rude member of staff who complained that my cat wasn't in it's box. My kitten was getting very stressed out after such a long wait and managed to climb out onto my shoulders. She complained that my cat will upset the dogs and continued berating me when I was struggling to put her back in the box rather than helping. Fair enough if that's the policy but there is no need to be rude to me. The actual vet I seen was good so it wasn't all bad but I wouldn't recommend this place.

  Tom is amazing, on the level, down to earth, fantastic with my fur baby Lolly. Bought her in today as found a lump so was proper panicking as she's only young. He was not concerned so that was a massive relief. Very complimentary of how Lolly is looked after. Really really happy with his service and will be always going to him moving forward. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️They are that good, even though I moved out the area I still choose to bring my pets here. Thank you so much. See you in July. Alex and Lolly
