not a great experience. i was here since 10 in the morning until 5pm. they didnt tell me until 1pm that i shouldve gone home. the vet told me the ear flush procedure would take about 2 hours max. but no! i stayed until 5. another thing, when i went for the consultation, they told me an estimate of the price (£360) INCLUDING medication. next day i went for the actual procedure, when the vet came out he told me ANOTHER price. it went up to £478. THEN, the vet called me again and said it will go up to 661. and finally the actual price was almost 700 pounds. suuuper professional guys..!! last thing, when my dog came out of the procedure, obviously he was in there for quite a while. he smelt very weird. not like what he smelt like when i brought him. he smelt like genuine dog. NOT in a good way. clearly, they do not clean the cages they keep the dogs in before procedure! i am telling you guys, this smell was REALLY bad. i cannot believe how unhygienic they place really is. the least you couldve done was CLEAN THE CAGES. probably the worse vet you could go to. do not come here!!!!!

My cat was brewing an infection, as a nurse, I was pushing the vets for antibiotics. The vet declined and made him come back everyday for 3 days for just fluids and one set of bloods. All this costed nearly £1k. Finally asked for antibiotics and he was back to baseline within 4 days… they overcharge and squeeze money out of you

I’m disappointed with my recent experience at this vet clinic. They seem completely unorganised and consistently overbook appointments far beyond the slots they have available. Even when you book a specific time, you end up waiting well over the agreed appointment window, sometimes for hours, with no clear updates or explanations. The reception team also doesn’t appear to be on top of things. Communication is poor, and there’s little effort to manage the backlog or keep clients informed. For a place that handles pets’ health and wellbeing, I expected a much more professional and efficient service.

Disorganised and inconsistent. Our cats have been registered here since adoption. One receptionist said we must bring the cats in to be weighed to collect flea and worming treatment, despite them being weighed three months earlier. Another said we were already eligible and could collect without issue. The online booking system does not work. In 2025 this should be basic. Phones ring for a long time just to book an appointment that an online system should handle. Staff appear unfamiliar with their own IT system and were surprised to see we are registered. The issue is not pricing or care quality. It is a lack of organisation and consistent process. They are clearly overbooked, but I believe focusing on organisation, training and automation would make them cope with the demand and provide a better customer service. My partner and I stress out when our cats have an issue, not because of the issue per se but because we will have to deal with them. Unfortunately, they are the only vets in Beckton, maybe they need a bit of a competition to up their game?

Neutering on my cat Molly was done well and there were no complications but two observations: 1) I was given a 9.10am appointment. I wasn't seen until 10am. My cat is an indoor cat and is quite nervous. Having her in an extended stressful situation is not good. 2) Secondly, I was told to come and pick my cat up at about 1.30pm. I arrived at 2.40pm giving ample time for them to get her ready. Despite several requests for an update I did not finally get me cat back until gone 4pm, 90 mins after I arrived to pick her up. Given she was supposed to be ready to go home at 1.30pm, having to wait 90 mins after I had already given them over an hour extra is just ludicrous. The reception staff seem to be rather apathetic and made me feel awkward when asking for updates. Will go back to my usual vets at Goddards from now on.
