My wife had a very concerning experience at Dronfield Veterinary Clinic involving a needle‑stick injury caused during an injection attempt with my dog. Despite clearly expressing that our 12 week old puppy was distressed and likely to react, this was not managed appropriately (ignored), and the situation escalated to the point where the needle went through her hand. She was then given incorrect first‑aid advice and had to seek proper medical treatment through NHS 111 and A&E. What has disappointed me even more is the lack of follow‑up from the clinic — no welfare check, no request for my wife's account of the incident, and no meaningful communication about how they intend to prevent this happening again. The entire experience left both my wife and my dog extremely distressed, and the post‑incident handling fell far short of what I would expect from a professional veterinary practice.

All the staff at this practice are amazing, so glad we chose this practice after a recommendation. They are so helpful and welcoming, it's very reassuring that when we leave our cat with them we know he's in safe hands.

A brilliant practise, with great staff! We have always been treated efficiently and in a friendly and caring way. I took my cat, Tabby in this morning to be given a worming tablet. She was very stressed. I saw veterinary nurse Jennifer Guest. She was brilliant! Very knowledgeable and took time and patience to solve the issue successfully! One very happy cat….and an even happier owner! Cat putty here we come! Thank you to you all! Diane

This vets are superb, you will not find nicer in Dronfield, Chesterfield or Sheffield. All the team are brilliant from the receptionist to the surgeons. They look after our 2 dogs as if they are their own, that's exactly what you want.
