This vet looked after my wife and daughter after our tiny hamster had a fall. The vet was on time, provided lovely reassurance, didn’t offer anything that wasn’t necessary. As a result there was no charge. We’ll definitely be back but hopefully under less auspicious circumstances next time.

very friendly vet, I find them very helpful and am always able to get an appointment in good time.. they also stay open fairly late for pickups! Only bad point is that sometimes the staff rotate part way through the day and you end up dealing with someone else in the afternoon.. not a big deal though.

Been coming to Elm Cottage with all our animals (cat, dog and bunnies) for several years and always had a great professional service. We recently had to put our cat to sleep and the service received by the vet team was superb, caring yet professional. Our dog looses her usual bouncy confidence once in the door but at each vet visit gets given so many treats and cuddles from the vet so she doesn't mind going. Highly recommend!

We have used Elm Cottage for the last 20 years and most recently for our two cats and two Dalmatians. The staff are always friendly, great with our dogs, well informed and appointments are always easy to make and run largely on time. At our appointment today, our normal super vet , Charlie, was unexpectedly not available and we were seen by the Practice Manager, George. He even went the extra mile to call us the night before to let us know that Charlie would not be able to see us. He was friendly, knowledgeable and exactly what we have come to expect from Elm Cottage. We would wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone with dogs, cats or any other pets.

Terrible experience. They really don't know how to care for dogs. Rude, overbearing and disrespectful of both myself and my dog. Lack of explanation of treatment was ridiculous. Was charged £63 for a substandard check up (the vet couldn't seem to examine her unless sedated) and what was essentially doggy ibuprofen. Would not recommend doing to anyone with a dog.
