I grew up in the area with 2 dogs that used to be seen by Alan. Now as an adult & living in the area, I take my own dog there and have had nothing but good experiences with all the vets there. Back when my girl was spayed with keyhole surgery, the whole process was smooth and she recovered very well. The VIP Pet Plan is great to keep her updated with medication and her yearly health check - the reminders are also super useful in case I forget!

I recently contacted this vet practice for assistance with a cat I was cat sitting. They were super helpful and they were able to accommodate my request even on a busy day when the vets were fully booked with consults and surgeries. The person I spoke to on the phone was very approachable, reassuring and friendly, and they made sure to follow through so that everything went smoothly. Having worked in veterinary practice as a nurse for years, I know how difficult it can be to fulfil requests on a short notice when things are busy, so I just want to say a massive thank you to the team for helping me so promptly!

I couldn't have found a better place for my two cats. Every visit reminds me that they are in the best possible hands. The team is incredibly professional, yet so warm and kindhearted. I always leave with a full set of clear instructions and feel completely reassured. They are great people who truly care. I trust them 100% and highly recommend this clinic to any pet owner!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely the best service I’ve ever had! I had a fantastic experience at Blackheath Veterinary Surgery. It was so easy to get a quick appointment, and their long opening hours make it really convenient. My kitten received such a warm welcome on her first visit — she even got a lovely pack of treats and toys! The team was friendly, caring, and professional. Highly recommend this practice to any pet owner.

Exceptional clinic! Doctor Gav was simply brilliant, attentive and caring and she pulled out two grass seeds from my baby Archie’s ears smoothly! I can’t recommend enough the clinic staff are amazing and super friendly! Plus my boy got treats and was not scared at all by the vet visit! Thanks so much!
