  We were seeing vetinery vision at Bishopton Vets, Thirsk about our rescue dogs eye to check there was nothing sinister behind it. The vet was amazing and did a thorough check on his eye which took approximately an hour. They were able to put our mind at rest to say he wasn't in pain and no further treatment is required. We were able to sit in an area away from other dogs, as there was a feisty one waiting too 😁, which helped Buddy and us relax while we waited. All staff were very friendly and professional and it was a very good experience and I would definitely recommend them.

  We had a warm reception for our visit to Veterinary Vision and were pleased to see separate waiting areas for dogs and cats. We had excellent care from the Vet at VV who explained everything and we had total faith in him. We would highly recommend Veterinary Vision and the team and premises at Bishopton, Thirsk,

  Good parking, ease of access and incredibly pleasant reception staff; personable and very helpful. When our needs became more complex I was advised to go to their Vet Hospital, they were informed on my behalf and expecting us. Appointments have run on time and Vet / vet nurses seen have been incredibly pleasant, caring, and given us all the time we needed. Very happy with the service and care received and would certainly recommend.

  Our cat Sophie went in today for surgery to remove a tumour, which has obviously been an incredibly stressful experience for both us and for her. As soon as we felt a lump, we took her to the Ripon branch, where Anne was absolutely brilliant — calm, efficient and reassuring. She took samples immediately and within a week we had clarity that it was something untoward and needed further treatment. We were then booked in at the Thirsk branch, which we hadn’t visited before. Having been there today, we were equally delighted with the level of care and professionalism from all of the staff. The experience matched what we’ve always received at Ripon. Not only were the team completely caring and compassionate, they paid genuine attention to Sophie’s comfort and wellbeing, right down to asking what food she prefers and what type of litter she likes. Everything was explained clearly, including the aftercare and we’ve left with a very clear plan and follow-up appointments already in place, which is really reassuring. The staff at Bishopton Vets are truly exceptional. We travel from Leeds to come here and we honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly.
