We brought Johnny to be castrated today. From the day we made the appointment until taking him home, every single member of staff was extremely pleasant, professional and highly attentive when giving care advice. I am genuinely so grateful for all of the help and the work being done here. Thank you all, from Johnny and family.

I could not be more happier with the Oldbury team. They are always polite and explain everything in detail. They have looked after my pets when ive been in difficult times. Donation or NOT they are there to help people in need. I will always be forever grateful for the treatments they have provided to me, my family, friends even people i dont know. Seeing the same faces over the years is also a blessing. Thank you so much especially for today 🩷

Your experience will depend on which staff you get, I'm a frequent visitor due to a long term condition, I'm going to start with my negative experiences twice I've been told to put my pet down in a very uncaring way, which is extremely stressful, it sent me into depression as i was expecting the worst to be close, and I adore my pet, she said this before giving medication a fair try, she now seems to be very close to the right dose. A blond receptionist made me feel awful for not donating it was literally the only time I hadn't and I was struggling, partly due to donating £25 every visit and often times multiple times a week, it mounts up especially with buying foods to help her straight after buying her old food. There's people that never donate, try checking the donation history A vet told me they'd put the prescription in and didn't I waited ages for it, before I started getting a bit stressy because It was making me late for the school run, 3 women was in the pharmacy at the time and flat out ignored me when I approached them. The lady with black hair on reception went out of her way to find out why I was waiting so long, she was the one to let me know it hadn't been put through and put it through for me, now that's how you diffuse a situation, she was lovely throughout that visit, but unfortunately I got a after school club charge as I was now an hour late to the school, if things had been sorted properly sooner I probably would've avoided that cost I went in today and saw the same 3 women in pharmacy, they was talking about me that was obvious by the body language and mocking me, I was sat quite a bit a way from them so I didn't hear them clearly but I did over hear 1 say "well she hasn't even gone to reception" I didn't realise I needed to as it was a scheduled pick up time, which had passed at this point, so I went over to the receptionist she was more pleasant this time and despite it being my last bit of money till Friday I donated as it was that blond woman that had previously made me feel awful. Despite these few people you do have some really good staff, who have done well to help my baby recover, dietry recommendations that worked with my budget, to all day care when she went really poorly and I can't be more grateful to the 1s that actually help rather than the ones that treat you like you're a problem instead of a person who needs some help

Heartbroken by Serious Negligence at PDSA Oldbury- I am absolutely devastated by what happened to my dog Molly Morris, who was put to sleep at PDSA Oldbury on 28th October 2025. We paid CPC directly for a private cremation, and CPC even called PDSA Oldbury to confirm the payment and instructions. Despite this, PDSA Oldbury still handed Molly over for a communal cremation with other dogs. No one called me. No one checked. No one followed the instructions that had already been confirmed. Because of this error, we will never have Molly’s ashes back. After 17 years with her, this has caused huge emotional distress for me and my family, especially my mother who is already unwell. This was a heartbreaking and completely avoidable mistake. I have submitted a formal legal complaint and am seeking a full explanation, refund, apology and compensation. Families deserve better care and professionalism at such vulnerable times.
