I’ve been coming to this practice for 14 years since our dog Charlie was a puppy and he has always received excellent veterinary care from all the vets and nurses. The receptionists are all very friendly and welcoming and Charlie loves when they offer him treats. Recently he had to have an operation for a medical issue which had made us frequent visitors to the practice over the last year or so. This was carried out by Sonia one of the vets and was not straightforward due to his age and other medical conditions. She showed great care and kindness towards Charlie and was happy to discuss my concerns about the procedure in advance. The operation went very well and I really appreciated the great post operative care Charlie received from Sonia. I really recommend this vet practice as offering a professional but caring and friendly service - sadly we are leaving it as we are moving away from the area.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this practice. The environment is always clean and well presented with the consult rooms equally well prepared and looked after. I recently took my youngest dog to them as an emergency and very quickly Harriet (vet) diagnosed the condition and got him on life saving treatment. He had to stay in for care and Amanda (nurse), who he adores, gave him lots of loving, comfort and care so he didn’t find being there anymore difficult. The care and concern this practice shows the animals in their care is fabulous, from Eleanor (Nuka’s favourite) who is so much more than a receptionist, she’s a happy face, a voice of compassion, reason and comfort as well as so helpful in sorting appointments, regular preventative meds and anything else I get confused about, to all the other staff who keep the practice running including the practice manager Shannon. I can’t pick fault with the treatment any of my dogs or I have received and they have been my go to practice for several years. Would definitely recommend this practice to other pet owners looking for a reliable, professional, friendly practice

I've been with BDW vets for the past 13 years with my 3 dogs and always been very happy with the whole team. I always feel they are being very well looked after starting from happy visits when they were puppies to the scary, emergency, on-the-day appointments. With on-going treatmens to my pets I am well informed of the plan, and feel that the wellbeing of the pups is the priority. Alex had seen us through many a visit and I am positive she knows the pups so well. They also keep me well on track with all the routine appointments and check ups which I am grateful for. Great practice!

I'm really glad to have chosen BDW as the vets for my 2 young cats who have had a number of health needs over the past few years. The staff at BDW have all offered fantastic customer service as well as careful and high standard animal care. My cat was presenting some behavioural changes that were becoming increasingly challenging, and after some behavioural support and physical tests it was clear he has a UTI. He had some quick and easy antibiotics and this has now cleared and he is evidently much happier which is a HUGE relief! Georgie has been so great with Rupi's care and has even been able to email me with updates following the tests he needed! I appreciate that I have been able to book in with Georgie as a regular vet who knows my cats now! Sarah has been the key to all my needed insurance claims going through and even went above and beyond by double checking them all for me which im very grateful for. Last but not least, Eleanor has always been a friendly face at the desk - it can be scary having a poorly pet, but i love that she always recognises me and makes me feel welcome. I use the Healthy Pet Club scheme and this has definitely eased some aspects of owning pets. It means that I could even get my cats paws trimmed during their check ups before they allowed me to trim them. Also, I love that BDW pop on real stories of pets on their social media! Thank you all at BDW!

My Aunts dog was in today for teeth removal surgery and I honestly can’t praise the staff enough, from Eleanor at reception giving such a warm welcome to the vet it was a 1st class experience. His vet Georgina Everest was amazing and explained everything throughly and so was kind and caring. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone. Thank you.
