The best vet practice in Edinburgh by a country mile. Whereas most other practices are chains, the rip-off ones, this is a small independent. That difference is very noticeable in both the service and the cost. The staff, from reception to back room, are all extremely professional and pleasant and all the vets are superb. I have 3 dogs with medical needs, and a cat who’s healthy 🤞, and switching from my old vet to Karen and co has not only resulted in much improved care but also significantly lower bills. I have recommended them to all my friends

West Edinburgh Vets have been brilliant with my puppy since getting him in November. We unfortunately had to use them twice before even having the “meet and greet” and they have been wonderful. All staff are so friendly and seem to genuinely care. Signing up to their plan has been really great value. Having them on WhatsApp and having the video vet has been brilliant too- putting my mind at ease/ getting my questions answered without having needing to call or visit the vet each time. Cannot recommend them more!

When Ivy, my chicken, recently became unwell, we were able to get an appointment, at short notice, with Karen. Ivy was treated with great care, and we left with medication and a treatment plan (plus some top tips to get Ivy to accept her meds and other treatment, without causing either of us any unnecessary stress). Ivy is now back in the garden, terrorising the rest of the flock. I can’t thank Karen enough. Very glad that I registered my girls! Highly recommend! 🐓

A fantastic service from WEV. Even during a difficult time all the staff have been so helpful, understanding and caring. They’ve also given us excellent advice on how to deal with our cat and put up with our endless questions! We couldn’t be happier with the care and service provided.

A really fantastic team, from reception, nurses and vets. My cats both feel quite happy and comfortable and never in distress at this place (Pic of Nova lounging, purring and flirting with the vet!). They're very good at giving information and making sure any stress or anxieties are answered.
