Andy the Vet & Friends is an independent small animal veterinary practice located in Storrington. It offers comprehensive veterinary care for all ages and breeds of small pets, including health checks and operations. The practice is owned and led by local vet Andy Mead.

  I feel very confident and comfortable when I need to visit Andy with Sasha our elderly dog. I am aware from her that she also feels as comfortable as she can. Andy is not only a fair and skilled vet but his ability in communication is special. I appreciate having him as our vet. The supporting staff in his practice also share his values. Thank you

  Andy the vet and friends is an independent vet, and a breath of fresh air! Kind and caring whilst being efficient. Everyone is friendly and clearly wants your pet to thrive, as well as caring about the owner. Our 18 month Bedlington whippet was recently spayed and she seemed to enjoy the whole experience! Came round wagging her tail and from the first hour was calm and easy in her movements and in herself. Andy took time to explain the procedure and we were clear about aftercare, and feel very grateful. Our previous lurcher was terrified of another well known local vet and we avoided taking her if we possibly could - I wish she had met Andy’s. We recommend them highly.

  Without doubt the best Vet Practice. Amazing care and professional knowledge. Andy tge Vet just goes the extra mile and his way of communicating gives you an insight into the way he is diagnosing your pet's condition and treatment. We are so lucky in having Andy and his wonderful team as our Vet.

  Simply a wonderful place to bring your pets to! The practice is superbly laid out, very chilled, comfortable and clean. Ours dogs in the past have struggled going in to the waiting room of other practices, not here though, they are more relaxed and are always greeted by happy and enthusiastic staff be it at reception, the nurses or vets. Thankyou to Andy and all the team who look after Vinnie & Ruby.

  When your pet really needs the vets, that is when you will truly discover how good they are. Luckily when my boxer dog was terminally ill she was being treated by Andy when he was working at another practice. I found him to be very knowledgeable, professional, kind,caring and reassuring. He could of insisted on monthly blood tests. He did not, so kind to my wallet too! Thanks to Andy’s care my dog had another 10 months of quality life. When I heard Andy was opening his own practice it was a no-brainer to change. Last week was my first visit taking my boxer dog for her annual vaccination and health check. We received a very warm welcome from the lovely Clare on reception. The waiting area is large, clean and bright. My dog made a beeline for the sofa so more of a homely less clinical feel. Andy was friendly as always and gave my boxer dog a thorough examination. She seemed to approve as she gave him a big lick! Wishing Andy and the team continued success.
