Great experience each visit. The staff both admin side and clinician side are so friendly with both the humans and our pets. Eric not in a rush to go back but he says thank you for looking after him 😂

Just to let you know it is now 12 months since you put my beloved Toby to sleep forever, the worst experience I have ever had. You dragged that experience out for it seemed like forever,at least for half an hour trying to cover the the cost of losing my pet, which I know now was way over the top. It became quite clear to me a while ago you don't really care about the animal, it's about how much you can charge, but at the time, I had nowhere else to go. I said to myself I would never come back to you because there was only pounds in your eyes not love for animals. By the way I think the vets probably did care, but money for the top dogs won out, greedy vets

⭐ Extremely Disappointing & Unethical Experience I am deeply frustrated and disappointed with White Cross Vets. This is not a one-off issue but a pattern of poor service and manipulation. Previously, I was misled about the price of medication — I was told it was “very expensive,” and only when I showed concern did the price suddenly drop. That alone raised serious trust issues. On top of that, I was forced to travel to a faraway branch for a blood test instead of being accommodated locally, causing unnecessary inconvenience and stress. Today was the final straw. My monthly payment was increased without any prior intimation or explanation, which is completely unacceptable. When I questioned this, there was no accountability or courtesy shown. To make matters worse, they refused to give me a Saturday appointment, despite knowing this is often the only feasible option for working clients. What exactly is the point of paying a monthly plan if prices can be changed without notice and basic appointment flexibility is denied? This service lacks transparency, fairness, and customer care. I no longer feel valued as a client, and more importantly, I no longer feel confident trusting them with my pet’s care. I would strongly advise others to think twice before committing to this practice.

I whole heartedly recommend White Cross Vets. Their exceptional expertise, care, compassion, kindness, empathy and communication provided by the friendly, thoughtful, warm and welcoming staff, whilst remaining professional is priceless and second to none and deeply appreciated. From the minute I walk through the door with my dog Gracie, the receptionists Kirsty and Charmaine, warmly greet and welcome Gracie with such heartwarming friendly greetings and attention as if she was one of their own whilst always remaining respectful by asking if she can have a treat and they soon have Gracies tail wagging. Bearing in mind Gracie developed a real fear of going to other vets around Yorkshire in the past due to her various conditions. What stands out with White Cross, is that the receptionists, nurses and vets take time in the first instance, to get to know Gracie with lots of praise and positive regard to build a trust and a personal connection with her at every visit. The staff here make us feel heard and supported, handling Gracie with care demonstrating genuine connections with my dog which in turn gives me trust and confidence that Gracie will be totally cared for and looked after with her best interest at heart. This is deeply appreciated having never experienced this with previous vetinary surgeries in the 9 years I've had my beautiful Gracie, therefore I also feel supported, welcomed and safe in the knowledge that Gracie will be given the best veterinary care possible. The expertise of the vets came to the fore when they diagnosed Gracie with a rare autoimmune disease, which no other vet has been able to do in the past This affects her joints in her legs leaving her disabled hence the buggy however Gracie is still full of spirit, alert and happy doggie overall. Her disability is managed with monthly check ups here and the medication required. Including having her nails clipped which in the past has been a difficult job to do with her fears and sensitivity in her legs , however now Gracie allows the vet to clip her nails which again is a miracle to be seen and all due to the fabulous care and empathy, putting her and myself at ease. White Cross staffs friendly rapport and communication of the vets ability to clearly explain, discuss Gracies treatments and conditions with me and answer any of my questions without feeling rushed and they ease any of my concerns reminding me at each visit how happy and well Gracie is considering her genetic disability which leaves me feeling confident in my own care for Gracie. And to top everything off White Cross have a fabulous monthly payment plan for reduced consultations, flea and worming tablets at no extra cost with repeat prescription reminders, reduced cost for medication nails clipping and more which all in all is the best pet payment plan I have had and also recommend. White Cross are Simply Thee Best well deserving of stars and accolades galore. Truly a veterinary 'needle in a haystack' of a find who I wish I'd found alot sooner however I know whole heartedly Gracie does and will get the best care possible. Thank you White Cross for being there for us I'm truly grateful to you all.

By far the best vets I’ve ever been too. All the staff here are so welcoming and friendly. The receptionist are so lovely and helpful. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else. My dog is reactive at the vets due to fear and stress but the vets are absolutely brilliant with him. I know my cat, Leelee, was in good hands when he was hospitalised and after he got put to sleep. It kept my mind at rest knowing he was being cared for whilst he was hospitalised and even when he was euthanatised. His fur and whiskers were put in cute little glass bottles and his paw prints came in beautiful cards that’ll be displayed on my wall. Thank you to the White Cross Vets team, you guys are the best!
