  Visit was an emergency as our dog had regurgitated a large stone and was continuing to vomit. She was anxious and crying. Was seen out of hours immediately. Our Cockapoo was treated and had ultrasound to ensure no other blockage. Medicated with anti sickness injection and told we could return if we felt our dog was still at risk. 24 hours later our dog was back to her normal self. Excellent service from all staff. They really cared for our Cockapoo. Thank you to Cathy, she was so helpful and caring.

  We were very happy that VetsNow could see us on a Sunday as all we wanted to do was find out why our labradoodle suddenly could not put his paw to the floor and was only on 3 legs! The vet we saw was brilliant (apologies I can't remember her name) checked Toby out thoroughly and provided the best treatment for him at that time with advice to follow up with our normal vets if Toby didnt fully recover or if concerned. Yes it was very expensive but it was a Sunday and that's what insurance is for. We were just grateful there is an out of hours service available.

  I was sent clear instructions on how to find this vets when I rang them. The were compassionate and kind. Kept me informed of how my cat was and kept him comfortable and pain free. They explained all the treatment they wanted to give and prices and alternatives. I see some people have complained about prices, but it is emergency care so the pricing seems fair to me. Above all they seemed to really care about both my cat and all the other animals that were brought in while I was there.

  In terms of care, they were excellent. Both the day and night vets kept me updated on all the test results and kept my cat safe until I could book surgery. In terms of the costs associated with an out of hours emergency, definitely have some sort of insurance because it's otherwise very expensive - but the vets did try help to organise alternative care and payment.

  I had a very positive experience with Vets Now in Barton Le Clay during an emergency situation late at night. After finding a distressed hedgehog in the road, I moved him to my garden to observe his behaviour. He was sniffing constantly and walking in tight circles for over 2 hours, even when offered food. Fearing he had aa severe issue, I decided to take him to the clinic at 1:00 am. Despite the fact that I hadn't called in advance, the staff were incredibly welcoming. I was greeted by a veterinary nurse who was professional, warm, and very kind. She took a few necessary details from me and immediately took the hedgehog into their care. She very kindly offered me the choice of waiting at the clinic for an update or heading home and receiving a phone call later. It was clear that the staff here are genuinely compassionate and dedicated to animal welfare, regardless of whether the patient is a pet or wildlife. I would highly recommend this clinic for emergency situations.
