  HVS was recommended to me by my dog trainer a few years ago as I have a reactive and nervous rescue collie, and I cannot recommend them enough. The receptionists are always very welcoming, friendly and accommodating, and are able to fit my dogs in at very short notice if needed. I have found all the vets to be professional, compassionate and caring at all times. I know that my dogs are always in very safe hands. Parking is always easy. An amazing team! Thank you x

  Great xets. Oxer the years we've used many different vets for many pets and in my view this is the best I'by dar. Maybe something to do with not being part of a franchise. They obviously care and are willing to put in a bit more effort towards both your pet and explaining the situation to you.

  I go regularly to the Hitchin veterinary surgery with all my pets. The receptionists are friendly and efficient and there is a nice atmosphere in the waiting room. The vets are helpful and explain things very clearly. The vets and nurse are very kind and gentle with the pets, so it is less stressful for them. I would highly recommend this veterinary surgery for your pet care.

  We have recently moved over to this surgery as advised from our dog trainer as they especially good with reactive dogs. We have been extremely impressed with the service for a our 2 dogs and cats. They allowed us to meet with our reactive dog outside the vets and were very calm and accommodating. They respond very quickly to any prescription request and all in has a very good for us and our pets. Thank you

  Amazing, caring independent veterinary surgery. I've been with them since Stuart deWolf opened HVS some seven years or so ago and previously when Stuart owned another veterinary surgery in Hitchin. Would highly recommend them.
