  I cannot fault the staff we encountered on a recent visit following a late Saturday afternoon Insect bite to our pet. They acted with great professionalism and kindness. However, the charges were, frankly, eye watering. I fully understand additional charges for what is considered "out of hours", however 6pm on a Saturday is not (in my opinion) late. Having paid £324.50 incl "value" added tax for the consultation/out of hours fee.. I was extremely surprised to be then stung with an additional £158 (incl "value" added tax) for medication and more fees! The medication administered totalled £39.88, an amoxicillin injection, for example was .54p. Yet I was charged nearly £30 for each of the 3 shots given, plus a £20 fee for the tablets to take home. Had I have made aware of this at the time, I'm would have just have taken the tablets and not had the additional antibiotic injection. This is a multi million pound profit industry, and with charges like this, you can absolutely see why. Having emailed 3 weeks ago for justification as to the costs, as my insurance was only prepared to pay £109 of the total, sighting excessive fees as part of the reason for underpayment - I'm still awaiting a response. As stated previously, I cannot fault the staff, but something is very wrong with society where you have companies declaring multi million pound profit margins, yet so many pet owners are forced to put themselves in debt to pay these charges.

  From the moment we arrived it was a lovely experience. We were so worried about our dogs situation but the lovely caring staff there put us to ease straight away! Can see they truly do care about the animals they treat. Thank you again for helping our Bear!

  We visited the surgery on a Sunday morning. The staff were lovely and helpful but unfortunately extremely stretched: there was only one vet on duty. We were there for 4 hours which our cat found extremely stressful. It was 1 1/2 hours before we saw the triage nurse and a further hour before we could see the vet. Also there are some fees on our invoice which I am not sure about, these are in addition to the consultation fee and the costs of injections and medicines. Overall I would like to thank you for being there on a Sunday to administer pain relief and antibiotics, after returning home we could see our cat was already much improved and more comfortable

  Excellent service from Vets Now. We were seen quickly and efficiently. The vet was lovely and kind and caring and really seemed to care not only about our dog but us aswell. Everything was explained fully and treatment given until we were visit our normal vet the next day. The vet even sat on the floor to try and make our dog feel more comfortable as she was in a lot of pain but is also so scared of the vets.

  My dog Chanel became very ill and my own vets surgery wouldn't see her. I rang Vets Now explained the situation and they told me to go straight over. My friend drove me over to Ashford at 11:30 pm on a Saturday night. We got there and saw a lovely Italian vet who explained that my dog had had a mini stroke and things would only get worse. I had to make the decision to have my baby put to sleep as her legs were straight out infant of her and when the vet stood her up she couldn't put her feet down and kept flopping on her side. I was treated brilliantly and my furbaby didn't go through anymore pain. It was a very heart breaking situation but I was so grateful for how they treated us both. This vet and the nurses were amazing Thank you.
