Looking at some of the negative reviews, and as someone who worked in the customer service industry a very long time, I can guess that most are probably those types of customers you absolutely dread to see enter the building. A one sided fake ‘truth’ because something didn’t go their way or they were perhaps called out on their inappropriate behaviour. I’ve always found the staff to be polite, hardworking and caring towards my pets. Thank you for all that you do :)

Rising costs, reduced service, and add-on fees. I recently attended Trinity Vets for my dog’s annual check-up and vaccinations, and unfortunately the experience felt disappointing compared to previous visits. The appointment felt rushed and less thorough than I’ve come to expect. I had to specifically ask for my dog to be weighed, and only minimal checks were carried out overall. Despite this reduced level of service, the cost has increased. The visit came to £68, which felt poor value given how limited the examination was. On arrival, I was also ignored by two reception staff who remained on the phone throughout, which didn’t create a welcoming or professional first impression. During the consultation, the vet asked whether I wanted a urine test, but no explanation or clinical reason was given. I agreed, assuming it was a routine part of the annual check-up. Only afterwards did I ask reception whether there was an additional charge. They didn’t know the price, had to ask the vet, and returned somewhat awkwardly to say it would be £48. I found this extremely concerning — I could easily have been charged without informed consent. The vet himself was pleasant, but overall this visit left me uneasy. Rising costs, reduced service, and add-on fees that aren’t clearly explained are worrying trends. It’s no surprise the government is now pushing for greater transparency around veterinary fees. I’d advise others to ask very clear questions about what is included — and what isn’t — before agreeing to anything.

A terrible vets. Receptionists rude and uncaring. Please see numerous reviews stating the same thing. Care provided in an emergency situation was not up to standard. Asking for half of the estimated cost when my cat was having emergency procedure. Even when I was crying there was no compassion shown. Because I told her she was unprofessional and uncaring, I was banned from going in there again and wanted my daughter who has autism and struggles to communicate to go in alone. The manager is also very rude. Not a good place to go In response to your reply, please read the many other reviews which reiterate the rudeness of reception staff. It isn’t just me. There is no reason to ring or have any communication with yourselves as you hate any form of criticism. A good veterinary practice would listen without acting like a toddler on the phone, hanging up or banning someone!

I have visited Trinity Vet Centre several times and they always provide such a fantastic service. The staff on reception are always incredibly friendly and helpful, both in person and on the telephone. Also, the Surgeons, Nurses and Assistants are knowledgeable, caring and empathetic. I can see why so many people travel such large distances to visit Trinity Vet Centre, as they have such a fantastic reputation - I can see why. Please keep up the great work, as you provide such an important and invaluable service. 🦎 🐍 🐢 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
