  Our dog Brucey, came back from a walk and he had picked up a bone! Unfortunately, it had lodged in the roof of his mouth ( turned out to be a cooked rib bone). Consequently, he was extremely distressed, mouth was bleeding etc.We were fearful that he could choke as we were not aware of the size of the bone.We rang the vet (approx 10am) and rushed him there. He received immediate attention by the staff who were excellent! Thankfully, the bone was removed successfully, following sedation. He has recovered well from his ordeal. We cannot thank the staff enough for their expert care, as it was a horrible, stressful, experience. Thanks again ☺️

  Incredible staff and attention to detail.. very caring ! Tasha went above and beyond 🙌🤩…and actually dropped medication off at my home address on her way home from work so that my elderly cat wouldn’t miss her pain relief.. Thank you 🙏🫶

  We were advised at a routine check up that our dog Norman needed teeth cleaning and removal of some teeth. The vet and nurses took the time to answer all of our questions and explained everything really well including why this was required, details of the procedure itself and post-op care. Norman needed 13 teeth removed which were loose and/or decayed and this has given him a new lease of life. His appetite has significantly improved since this procedure and he has started playing with his toys again. From our experience, all staff at this practice seem really caring about the animals they treat and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Thank you.

  I can't recommend Torkington Vets enough. They are a lovely team! Andy is so patient, knowledgeable and understanding and they all treat my Mal with such care. She even looks happy to go in to see them all. The veterinary nurses (she actually let one lovely angel trim her nails!!!) and reception staff are all absolutely lovely and very professional. Suka is happy and relaxed there and I trust them completely. Thank you to Andy for helping my previously skittish girlie to relax and allow them to give her the support and care that she needs.
