I have great confidence in Jim Shaw who has been looking after the veterinary needs of our Tibetan Terrier, Betty for the past 4.5 years. I would highly recommend this practice.

We've been taking our cats to Jim for about 15 years and every trip has been great. They take the time to talk to you about your pet and discuss options. Colin (cat) is very anxious and I think has tried to bite staff due to pain from a bite, but they are always very calm and patient with him. Colin is a very good judge of character. The only issue is accessibility as a wheelchair user, but staff come down to collect the cats from the car park for me.

Have used this vet practise in the past- the primary and only vet *Mr Shaw was great with my first dog. However, on trying to join today *after ignored email, I was met with a very rude and unprofessional receptionist - told me they were only taking on certain clients *odd to begin with, and then proceeded to put every obstacle in the way of me joining the practise. This is not what you expect from a business and is more similar to a private members club. Do not waste your time if your looking for a practise - look elsewhere
